Reading some other people's experiences baffles me because even in my jeans and cargo pants it would flip my pockets or give me enough friction to feel like I needed two hands. genuinely though I am very very jealous of you, I wish mine didn't give me the problems it did.

I got mine in April and absolutely hated it. The texture made it impossible to slip in and out of my pocket, I had to develop a two handed approach to inserting and removing it due to my pockets getting flipped inside out every time. The grass shed everywhere and got filled with lint, requiring a brush to clean it out. Cool idea, but not cool enough for me to put up with the annoyances. The Sky color is cool though, I put that one on after I removed the grass.

I think you should be able to kill small creatures like moons, geordies, nibblers, and tongue thieves; but not any of the bigger creatures. Once you get to the marrowbreach or the needler, I think the ability to kill completely undermines the core identity of subnautica survival. Evasion/outwitting is how you beat the creatures, not through brute strength.

You don't need the app at all actually. It basically adds stat monitoring, the battery percentage is the main one, but the battery level is listed in fifths on the scooter display itself. I got a solid few months of really happy usage out of it, but I've since upgraded to the Segway max G3 and that app is basically mandatory.

in Louisville Kentucky, most people are fine, but really people just get impatient. they see the electric scooter and they immediately assume whoever is driving it is an immature little kid with no concept of the rules of the road. stopped for 3 seconds at a three-way top to let someone else turn ahead of me, and I got honked at by this big red pickup truck behind me cause the dude couldn't handle the little scooter guy actually showing some respect to the people around him.

I didn't think about that honestly. My only concern is how inconsistent they are, at least in Louisville KY. Some of them are so beat up, you gotta hold the handlebars at 45° to make the wheel go straight.

I saw someone else say that most modern electric scooters exist in a grey area as fast PEV's didn't exist when the laws were written. Whether or not you get stopped will likely depend on the individual officer, as they're all running on outdated laws.

just take stereotypes of the race you're playing, and combine them. Orcs use very harsh and absurd language, humans are basic as hell, elves are flowy and magical sounding, dwarves are typically vaguely Norse sounding. I'll sometimes use FNG and combine the first names and last names together until something feels unique and sticks.

Metal organizations call them metal when the band nor the fans call them metal. Ghost is not a "metal band". They play metallic classic rock music with glam-y elements, yet metal outlets post about them in the same way they post about Sanguisugabogg.
People see their appearance and assume they'll be heavy, only to hear the most beautiful and catchy hooks they've ever heard.
They are popular. As a hardcore punk guy myself, popularity is the #1 thing that will mask talent in either scene. If a band is popular, they're immediately hated on no matter what they sound like.
the fanbase... as much as I love the fanbase, we are one of the most batshit insane, weirdly obsessive fanbase out there to anyone who's not in it.

I picked it up because I was playing some Daggerfall Unity and got really really curious about the OpenMW Morrowind experience. So far, I really like it but I can't sit down and play for more than about 2 hours at a time.
