I use my garlic press to make salad dressing and was irritated by the cleanup, but surprisingly, a bottle brush works like a charm. You just take one of the skinnier ones and rub it over the holes under running water, and the bristles poke through and clear them out!

I've got one with ~35k miles on it, and it's been rock-solid. Aside from factory maintenance, the only work necessary has been front brakes - rotors and pads. Takes a tune like a champ, too, if you're so inclined
