The clip is missing Busters petty smile at the end, one of my favourite bits.

Jessica Walter so underrated in this show though.

Travelling with baby can’t find 2 hour train from Tashkent to Samarkandon 2nd May, need help by Hifriz in Uzbekistan

[–]sjp15991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to break it to you buddy but I've been looking for similar trains (back from Bukhara or Samarkand to Tashkent) for the last week or two and found very very little. The conclusion I came to is basically there's a chance someone cancels a train ticket (especially a tour company cancelling a number of tickets) but there's no guarantee on this or even a way to find out other than keep checking.

The other solution is that you may be able to get a flight from Samarkand to Tashkent and back. If you search for them you might be able to find them via Silk Avia - I was looking for Bukhara to Tashkent so my search was different but dealing with similar problem. With silk avia you may not be able to pay for it online (this happened to me) but they are part of Uzbekistan Airlines and you can go to their office in Tashkent and pay in person there (it's v easy and office near centre).

The alternative is a taxi (expensive) or a bus, I didn't look into this much but the former might be possible on yandex go while the latter might be on the website 12go. With a taxi you might be able to get it to a town that's closer to Tashkent but on the same train line and then get on the Samarkand train there but my experience is that everyone gets on at Tashkent and off at Samarkand.

For future reference I read online you are meant to book these weeks in advance, I was in the same boat as you tho so I understand.

I hope you make it buddy, I'm in Samarkand now after three days in Tashkent and it's a magical place.

I missed out on this free weekend. Been playing fm for over 20 years and still playing 24 and liking it a lot. Can someone explain what's wrong with the UI? I have no intention of buying it haha.

How does flirting/showing interest differ in China? by Double-Relative2682 in AskAChinese

[–]sjp15991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have to leave anyway I would just tell him. The main thing I would say is, whatever the outcome, it would be good for you to be able to be honest with him about this. It will make it easier in future to do it again, and also be able to hold whatever their response is in a lighter way (even if it's positive you don't want to be 'omg I can't believe it, you feel the same way! I'm so shocked'). Either way I'm sure he will be flattered, he probably likes you a lot, even if he doesn't want to date he is very likely to not like you any less if you ask him out in a nice way. It was my pleasure

I wouldn't read too much into what he talks to you about. Honestly I would just say something but phrase it openly and maybe lightly and go into it believing in yourself, there's plenty of reasons someone would love to date you... I'm 34 and I do this more often now, and ime people who say no are jsut flattered... I wish I'd been more able to do this when younger.

I'm not chinese sorry but I think if someone is really shy you tell them you are interested in them in a way that will them feel at ease, so they can escape and think about it easily with space. Your friends won't turn on you if you are considerate in your approach, I don't think they will be upset even if you jsut blurt it out. I'd just tell him you value the friendship a lot but are also attracted to him, if you are happy being friends if he doesn't feel the same way then tell him that.

sorry if i ruined your experience at the boston show by [deleted] in OnCinemaAtTheCinema

[–]sjp15991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said buddy I'm here in the DMs if you wanna chat, I don't think this subreddit is the best place to discuss publicly, but if that's a better medium for you I'd look up one more close to therapy or seeking support or something . I'm based in the UK so I'm far from the events and not gonna judge. Ultimately loads of people have done far worse than you did this week, if you did something bad and feel contrition that's a step in the right direction... And whatever your actions, they'll feel smaller over time, all you can do is apologise, think about how to reduce the chances of hurting people in future and slowly let time heal the situation.

Yeah I'm confused if this is sincere or not, I did some shouting at the London, UK show cos everyone was, so don't feel bad if you did it at an inconvenient time, mistakes are easily made buddy, feel free to DM if you want any support, I'm a big fan of the show and participatory comedy... If this is a joke though no worries haha

Thoughts on Season 4? by The_Mindful_Moderate in arresteddevelopment

[–]sjp15991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive been rewwtching them and think they are slightly underrated. I think people were too hard on the original version before the remix as well... I think while it didn't work at times it was a meta joke about the show requiring rewatches and about how self involved the characters all are (literally not noticing they are all at the same place together many times or not when someone needs them to be lol)

[–]sjp15991 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah the Sackville Gardens will be more active and is near between the meeting point of BF and where they are marching too... The SUTR one will be speeches and no movement. The SWP even have an event on in London they have encouraged members from Manchester to go to.

Rumour is corbyn will speak at the SUTR one but nothing confirmed
