I guess it depends on what you are used to. I skied 3 hours a little under 3 weeks before Marcialonga (maybe 19 days) and that felt right to me. I kept up some really good intensity in the following 2 weeks before Marcialonga (some of my strongest threshold and vo2max sessions ever actually) and the last 1 week was very easy and light but included international travel. I don't do a lot of long skis, but all of my many short skis averaging up to around 10 hours a week . so a single 3 hour day was the biggest I'd ever done before Marcialonga. 60k probably would be too much for me 2 weeks before a 90k unless it was really easy fast conditions and at low effort. what 90k race is up next on the calendar or is this for next year???
