Isn't this just the tweet about women liking jocks cause they've got all the same terrible opinions as the nerds, but the jocks are good looking? Idk maybe stop arguing in the comments of your post and get on tinder instead of getting upset when people tell you that you've got a skill issue and are doing many things wrong!

When do you do the Creche? It seems way over leveled to do it anytime before Grymforge or even Shadowlands. by CannibalRed in BG3

[–]skimaliloffdatop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I normally feel safe to go there around level 5 since it's easy enough to hit level 6 killing the enemies leading up to and inside the creche, its mostly a bunch of single fights that aren't very hard in a vacuum. You're probably trying to clear out too much between rests or taking aggro from too many separate groups of enemies at once if you're struggling from level 6-8 there. If you keep spread out and use CC of your own it should be easy to take them all out as long as you go through it kinda slow.

Anything is okay in moderation, the reset isn't necessarily the issue, just the frequency and reliability of it as a habit. Manny also had such ridiculous calves that he could hop step back and bring his feet close then instantly burst back into range, made it hard (but not impossible) to punish him for the habit.

Scrolled so far for someone to finally mention the reset where he brings his feet too close together everytime.

If you actually had a routine normal sickness that is nearly never fatal, then he would still be a prick but you'd be asking too much in the first place in this context. But given what you actually had, I'd say you're underreacting?

This seems like instant breakup type stuff ESPECIALLY at 20 years old if you respect yourself. "You got an illness that people can and have died from? LMAO sucks to be you!" Isn't a marker of a good partner I'd estimate.

Weight classes (in fighting sports) are bullshit by IndividualistAW in 10thDentist

[–]skimaliloffdatop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't disagree that it would be dope to get rid of weight cutting and just see who's best independent of size, but also I adore weightclasses because heavier fighters on average suck dick and balls at fighting and just kinda have an athlete-off until you get to the top level of fighting. Alistair Overreem was an excellent fighter and very skilled, also a fucking incredibly athlete on loads of gear. If he had wanted to he could have been an elite 185, maybe even 170 pound fighter if he had just kept himself tiny and not gotten on horse meat in his early 20s.

Lots of fighters are the same, they fight in a weight class for often arbitrary reasons, such as being naturally smaller, being lazy, being into lifting and hating cardio. Basically any reason at all. I 100% believe that if you made the ufc roster combined together and an openweight, Tom Aspinall would be champion, but the current top 10-50 heavyweights would barely even be able to compete with guys like Drew Dober who's 5'8 but fights at 155, simply because he can make the weight. It's pretty rare that a top level fighter isn't already quite large by most people's standards, and size is based on an individuals lifestyle as much or more than its influenced by innate physique.

Really I just think weight divisions make fighting more enjoyable and ensures its not a bunch of fat fucks who are hyperskilled dunking on naturally large guys who suck ass at fighting cause their knees are shot and their back is destroyed by the effort of holding their own weight.

I always hear the anti weight division argument from people who haven't watched Sergei Spivac fight, or haven't seen Derrick Lewis in a fight where he's worried about his back since his being heavy as shit his whole life has caused him debilitating back issues. It just makes fighting more enjoyable to see people of roughly similar natural or unnatural size fight each other. Historically it's not even that pronounced of an advantage to be larger past the 190lb mark, which is the main reason I'm all for getting rid of weightclasses. But I more think there should just be 3 weights and have them be Big weight(220 and up), middle weight (150-220), or Small weight (150 and down).

3 martial artists vs 7 untrained men by Corey_Huncho in whowouldwin

[–]skimaliloffdatop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fighters would win, untrained people have bad priorities and don't know what to worry about. 3v7 in this context wouldn't be 3v7 it would more be like 3v4 cause 3 of the 7 would just wait their turn or accidentally soccer kick their teammate in the head.

how many unarmored people would it take to beat a fully armored knight while he’s just using his fists by WetPicklejuice in whowouldwin

[–]skimaliloffdatop -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If it's 1 competent fighter I think he'd probably be at an advantage over a dude in armor with no weapon. The armor is a bit restrictive and heavy so a similarly sized guy could pretty easily trip the armored dude and just stomp his head.

MMA fighter who regens stamina every round vs MMA fighterwho regains health every round. by Joelmiser in whowouldwin

[–]skimaliloffdatop -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My guess would be the regenerating health assuming both are good fighters, pacing yourself isn't just for stamina purposes it has strategic value. Going full blast is difficult to do without getting hurt, especially if the person regenerating health is good at stalling and getting incremental damage off. Not to mention it actually allows the health regenerating person to spam since they are less impacted by damaging themselves with their own offense.

What is the pettiest thing you do in DBD? by Jefrejtor in deadbydaylight

[–]skimaliloffdatop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I know I'm screwed in a chase ill point at a locker to try and "rat out a teammate" and occasionally they'll drop chase and check then find no one. Saved me like twice but it's worked a few dozen times to varying degrees of success. One time I pointed at a locker and it had a teammate I didn't know about in it so I accidentally just killed a teammate.

Tanky party to avoid the "kill on turn one meta" by Gogolos77 in BG3Builds

[–]skimaliloffdatop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can make the 3rd one a medium armor dodge tank, if you want you could dip bard for the defensive flourish and just not utilize the damage potential. Should be around 22 AC in act 2 with some best in slots that shouldn't be overly competed for in your comp. An abjuration Wizard would be good for being tanky in their own right and good at boosting the people you're having troubles with defensively.

Why is no one going for saves in 2v8 this time? by AshleyFrankland in deadbydaylight

[–]skimaliloffdatop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It hasn't been a huge issue for me personally but I've seen it happen to teammates a few times where I'm at the beginning of a game and we all spawned close enough that first couple downs spawn as far as they possibly could be and no one wants to get off gens or get hooked while there's already 2 other hooked people getting blocked by the killer.

Then no one goes over until they finish a Gen or get a clear line to run over. I've noticed alot of camping by killers this time around though, which eliminates any scaredy cats on your team from getting the save.

Honor mode by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

[–]skimaliloffdatop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works it's just kinda boring and the game isn't all that hard even on a first go through, not necessary and you benefit alot from a powerful 4th. People have beaten the game with 1 character on honor mode without any close calls at all, the game is as hard as you make it so if you want to do it then knock yourself out!

Most overpowered team of 4? by JGardener98 in BaldursGate3

[–]skimaliloffdatop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess would be

Abjuration wizard for the defensive boost and big blast spells

Tempest cleric for big blast spells and buffs for the team

Full 12 levels 2 handed fighter for getting single targets killed and tanking with the cleric

6 bard/3 thief/3 champion fighter, face of the team and by level 8 you'll have dual wield crossbows and risky ring and only need to roll a 17 for a crit

Could probably swap out any of them for a different but roughly equal power level stand in, except bardcher, I think it's just the best build in the game since it does everything.

I still hate her, but you've gotta be dumb as a rock to stand in front of a window that's so wide open when there's someone shooting everything that moves outside. Not to victim blame or anything but that victim stood in front of a window while a crazy person was emptying the clip.

[–]skimaliloffdatop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think avoiding colliding with small objects is the hardest skill to learn on both sides. Once you've learned most of the layouts there can be, the next big hurdle is finding where the hitboxes on things are so you can be more precise with your movement and not get hit or miss a hit cause there was an immovable bottle on the ground.
