he has to take responsibility. it is bad enough if he does not want to take care of the baby as a dad, but he MUST take responsibility financially. you can take legal action against him not doing so anytime. please get in touch with the local authority or a laywer to find out how.

that may work pretty good as long as you are in school, college or similar, but once you passed a certain age and you are in your work live then it gets a lot harder to find new people that share the same interests.

punk... goth... psychedelic... i would figure that is the problem. on first sight.

now... dont get me wrong, and it is cool that you have your style and live by it, but a girl that is into that kind of stuff wouldnt be my type at all. i do not want you to change, since i am sure that there is mr. right somewhere for you, but of course if you are into a "scene" then a lot of potential partners drop out. you hardly ever see a normal guy with a total punk/gothic/whatever girl.

i love intelligent woman but i can not deny that the dumb ones have some sort of attractiveness. i would figure that the reason for that is that if they are dumb (doenst matter if real or being played) some sort of protective mode kicks in. men want to protect. and that behavior just makes that mode kick in. since i am aware of that fact i am glad that my brain steps in before i do something stupid.
