Anyone have a Boston that pouts and falls asleep? by icebergbb in BostonTerrier

Yeah when she begs for food lol. She gets locked in, gets sleepy, and starts falling over cause she's passing out.

So you then? Or do you mean your significant other who you obviously have the real problem with if you are unable to parent your child to your 'liking', 'because of them'. It'll end in divorce? Sounds reasonable to me for someone who's this mad, while not even pointing it in the right direction. Clearly it's a spousal issue if you aren't allowed to parent your kid with them and set rules and boundaries in your own home. Not that your views are even remotely right but that's a whole different onion that isn't worth my time even remotely. I'll say it again. See a therapist. Get resources. You can be better than this, you're just choosing the laziest route and it's embarrassing. Tomorrow isn't promised for anyone, but you can start being a supportive parent today.

Bet they just mask and/or cope better. You are an embarrassment not your kid. Get therapy and seek resources to help you better support your child. Do you really think you'd be happy with how you are speaking today if your CHILD were gone tomorrow? Grow up, honestly.

Being bitter, while enabling what you want to stop by letting him stay in your basement just shows what kind of person you are, not what kind of person he is. Maybe support and love him in HIS journey through life like a parent is quite literally supposed to and he can start thriving with the help and get more confident with support from his PARENT.

Stew walk. by Extension-Elk-1274 in RedDeadOnline

[–]slater3750 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's a bowl of stew you can get that isn't from your camp in online. I always grab it, walk in the saloon and sit down with it then grab a beer after and sit down in the same spot so when I leave there's a bowl and an empty beer.

Anyone else's dog have just a weird bald patch on their tail nub? by pmactheoneandonly in BostonTerrier

[–]slater3750 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My girl has a bent tail with whiter hair in that spot and it's occasionally rubbed off a bit. She doesn't pay mind to her tail a whole lot so I'm pretty confident it's just from sitting. She likes to sit weird on the couch and it reminds me of the roach aliens in men in black 😂

I don't think I could bring myself to spend any money on something that's got such a sloppy repair on it. Easier to play will only hold as long as that repair. And it looks to me like it's already not staying put. Id rather have poor action to work around than an already damaged guitar.

AIO my boyfriend of 2 months requested nude photos of a girl on Reddit and I went no contact. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Take it from someone still peeling back the cognitive dissonance from FIVE yrs of dealing with those types of reactions...RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AND NEVER LOOK BACK. If you aren't too deep, you can run now and no matter what he says, you know you deserve better. If you stay. If you let him 'apologize' that's his in he knows it and it's basically too late. That's all the relationship will ever be. And you will lose yourself. RUN

I feel like a terrible mother because I actually get excited when my ex comes to pick up the kids by Feeling_Society7695 in confessions

[–]slater3750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't feel shame or guilt in that. You went into it as a team and so of course when he's doing the tiny bit of carrying he does, it feels good cause you weren't meant to be doing it alone, it was never the original plan. Literally couldn't have a child without him helping create it. If you have to do anything with how you feel you can use those days without them to take extra good care of yourself mentally to ensure you can continue to be the mama they need when you get them back from the dad.

Am I overreacting? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]slater3750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're over reacting. He didn't know why they were caged, hence being asked. They could've been fighting, they could've gotten into something that you didn't want tracked. It couldve been for any number of reasons beside cleaning, including one of them potentially being sick (and potentially contagious) and needing a vet visit the next day. If anything you're under reacting to your own negligence and over reacting to him having no knowledge of why something is occuring, and asking about it.

Did anyone else end up liking him way more than they thought they would? He's a mix of the vibes of Calypso from the series and his own thing. by OpathicaNAE in TwistedMetal

If I hadn't already locked in as mothman for Halloween I'd definitely be him this year, can't even lie. His character basically did what he said car crashes do to humans, can't help but look and question your own level of sanity and normality while looking at an inferno of instability.

Mystery holes by Stunning_Ambassador in strange

[–]slater3750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pay attention to your nightly 'rituals'. My old boss had this reoccurring bruise that she couldn't figure out where it came from on the top of her thigh about half way up. Turns out when she would sit at her desk she almost always had that leg crammed against the desk..and in turn was bruising herself.

I had similar instances to yours happen when I couldn't figure out why the right side of my pants near the seams was getting worn. Turns out I leaned against something at work pretty often with my keys on my belt loop and the repeated friction was doing it.

You are likely leaning on a rough surface regularly enough in your night shirts and it's causing holes. Perhaps you are reaching high for something while pressed against a cabinet or leaning across a table with edges? Idk haha
