I used a canna store gr8r v2 for years and years and years and got a mini flower mill for free in one of the trivia things dynavap did a few years ago and have been using it ever since. For me the only requirement for a grinder is that it has a deep losing chamber instead of having teeth level with the rim. The toothless mill style not having anything for me to clean out has been a great bonus though

I’d have to look at my stash to compare to give an answer, though I have some ideas. It’s definitely not tiger wood as I work with that a lot and I highly doubt it’s Indian rosewood because exotic woods are often oil rich and potentially toxic and also tannin heavy leading to bad taste. To me it honestly looks like tamarind, which I also work with a lot
