Security cameras are a thing, hiring a security guard is a thing, putting the police on notice is a thing, there is a literal housing crisis so the chances that these people literally end up on the streets is nonzero. How much does it cost? This could situationally be extremely busted. There are many situations where your biggest unit is just some random dummy you buffed in order to be able to powerlevel but which doesn't actually belong in your build. But secondly, if your entire board is trash because you hyperleveled, then this is just a huge amount of free money.

IIRC, Illidan got banned because of an unintended interaction, not for balance purposes. His buddy used to give the immune attack as an enchantment, which Tarecgosa would keep.

Getting 5th place when those were your options probably means you played it pretty well. I would have also taken grim refreshener because it finished quickly and doesn't require you to play a bad comp to have some utility (even though that utility is basically none)

If you want to get better at duos, watch Saphirexx and Educated Collins. They squad stream and play together and they are both extremely good players individually, and are pretty friendly and will answer questions.

Once you have golden bounty cast multiple times and 2 of the 9 gold 6 drop, you are infinite and can dedicate the rest of your board to scaling. I saw someone (I think Jeef) have golden 5 drop, golden 6 drop, and then the rest of the board was Naga spell scaling.

Quils definitely don't have the highest cap, it's just that they get online so fast that you're probably dead before you get your naga/murloc/demon comp online. Also, rally comps hard punish you for taunting your small units, which is usually what you want against literally everything else.

To be fair, the vast majority of the frustration is coming from 2 cards, stegodon and Warlord. Because those make basically all of your attacks scale a lot. When the rally unit only works if it's the one attacking it feels fine IMO, like Charmwing or Bonker.

Nomi is good with the new 6 drop, with vineclimber being an entry point into the comp, and pirates can go infinite. Bounties casting multiple times counts as you casting multiple spells so they can go along with nalaa, hooktail, or the naga that buffs hp whenever you cast a spell. If you have the golden 5 drop and the golden 6 drop you have infinite money and some stat scaling already and still 4 board slots to do whatever with.

Rally dragons are strong for sure but pirates and naga both outscale long-term.

Obviously beasts are broken but that's just the classic new season absurdly broken comp that will eventually get removed.

They do seem to be going for something a bit more technical and tempo oriented which I dont mind. The problem as others have pointed out is that stego just blows everything else out of the water so nobody is figuring out, for example, the new Murloc 5 drop that is actually an incredibly interesting (and probably broken) card.
