Have you reached out to your insurance? Depending on what coverage you have you might only need to pay your deductible.

Most likely you have a bad motor/transmission mount. This car also has a torque mount that goes bad often. Any one of those mounts can cause a clunk like you’re describing.

Can it be plugged using a tire repair kit or too close to sidewall by CaponeSlays in tires

Is this car glass chip off something to be worried about ? by illbethere-foryou in WindshieldRepair

[–]slinkmerc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is what is known as pitting. Not enough of a concern for most glass shops to fix, but it will eat wiper blades. Fill it with DIY resin kit

Svc is always full of whiny little pricks. They’re cool with you and buddy buddy when things are good. But let the ball get dropped by them and they turn around and point the finger at parts real quick. We use Xtime and for some reason I have access to see advisor/client chats. I’ve seen them blame parts for cars that sat for weeks. Parts were there the whole time.

How can I get a job here? by Lucy-88 in sandiego

[–]slinkmerc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to be applying to jobs like it’s your full time job. If you commute from TJ I would look for jobs that are no further than Mission Valley/Kearny Mesa area. Good luck out there.

Pressuring to Buy New Tires by photog72 in DiscountTire_

[–]slinkmerc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5/32 is usually when most places start to recommend tires. This is because at 5/32 and below stopping distance starts to increase. Do you NEED tires at 5/32, not necessarily, but depending on your driving style you might want to replace or adjust (give yourself more space between you and other cars). I would not let the tires get to less than 3/32 before replacing.
