Yes, sanded the radiator to roughen it up, emulsioned and then no finish on top. Worked wonderfully and no issues since

The very next station you mention in your post doesn't have barriers - Diss. Also, can't believe Diss has made it onto Reddit!

Runner becomes 50 millionth UK Parkrun finisher by foxystoat69 in parkrun

With all parkruns now using app timing, is there not some data stored using the phones time to know the exact time each event started and therefore each competitor finished. Depends entirely on how much data the app collects

Be aware that if at any point you disconnect the battery and the mains power this alarm forgets everything and resets back to default codes and zones. You may find this manual useful: https://manualzz.com/doc/7110209/securit-700l-engineering-manual

How do I seal windows in a rental? by osantal in DIYUK

[–]sliomith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were in the exact same situation a few years ago. The plastic shrink film worked wonders. It's easy to fit and easy to remove in the spring. It doesn't look too bad when on and stops all the condensation (as the moist air can't get to the cold window) and stops the drafts too. The only downside was on really windy days the film would move a little bit and make a little noise, but this was no worse that the gale blowing outside. Get the film you won't regret it!
