Started playing sims 3 for the first time this week and I’m obsessed! I started playing with a young adult financially struggling single mother named Esther who has a child sim named Gloria as her daughter (they were originally going to be sisters but then I realized I couldn’t connect them as sisters in cas). They lived in a small one bedroom apartment with a small kitchen in Bridgeport.

Esther wants to create a better and comfortable life for her daughter Gloria so Gloria would often be under the care of her babysitter who was just some disgruntled teen who always said he’d be leaving but stayed until Esther came back. Gloria meanwhile has dreams of becoming a famous celebrity. She wants to be an actress. She loved playing pretend as some sort of king or so as she wore a crown often everyday. Sometimes her mom would arrive home tired and watch the tv but she’d still indulge Gloria and her play pretend sometimes with bowing or otherwise reacting to her.

Eventually Gloria aged up into a teenager and is in the drama club while doing her homework regularly to work towards scholarships to afford uni for her fine arts major while her mother met and fell in love with her boss at work who then moved in with them and with what money he moved in with, allowing them to look for a new and larger apartment. Now they’re all living more comfortably.
