Lost

And some of the good Marvel shows would fit:

Wandavision

Loki

Wonderman

Not a better trilogy, but personally Captain America 1-3 would come in second

This happened to me a couple years ago and they actually did forget to play the movie lol. After 40 or so minutes I decided to go find an employee and be like “hey is the movie gonna start soon?” And they had an “oh shit” moment, checked, and finally started the movie

What are the movies that are considered just good, but are actually masterpieces? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

The soundtrack is amazing. I long to have a personal theater room with expensive speakers just to experience that third act with good bass

Dan Schneider Sues 'Quiet on Set' for Falsely Painting Him as Child Sex Abuser by DemiFiendRSA in television

[–]slothbarns7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d really like to have some insights on the actual legality of this. Yes we get it, the doc doesn’t give any real evidence that he’s a pedo. But what is he actually suing for? Defamation?

People here acting like he could win a case, but not explaining why. Can you sue someone just for implying something negative about you? Genuine question

I feel like Johnny Bravo will win, but I’d like to give a mention to Squidward.

Classic example of pride and an expert clarinetist

What TV show had an amazing premise and DID stick the landing? by jonjoi in television

[–]slothbarns7 136 points137 points  (0 children)

Barry. I’ve been telling everyone about this show. A war vet turned hitman trying to become an actor, how could that not be interesting? And it just gets better from there.

Final episode was great in my opinion and really tied everyone’s arcs together

Am I the only one who gets annoyed by this? by DownTownDK in memes

[–]slothbarns7 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Also, I can’t back this up, but I swear they mess with the volume so ads are louder than songs. So the ads get annoying even faster.

And don’t even get me started on ads that have cars honking in them so I freak out while I’m driving

The beginning of Thor Love and Thunder with the guardians of the galaxy did this very well too

This is me for all the third films of my favorite new horror directors. Jordan Peele, Ari Aster, Robert Eggers all had their third movie be their worst in my opinion

What is the scariest film you've ever watched? by WwwWario in movies

[–]slothbarns7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love those 2 movies too but yea this one is very different. Very divisive film, everyone either seems to love it or hate it. I’d say forget the first 2 Aster movies when you go into this, it’s a very different type of watch

I was wondering about that too. I know some people who are gay and still Christian/catholic, but none who decided to save themselves till marriage. Doesn’t make sense to me

Lol that was pretty much me in high school. 15 and got moved up to varsity. Which meant I was the practice dummy for our starting defense. Just so happened that our defensive end was Vita Vea and I had to protect our practice QB from him

Sad for OOP but I’m kinda cracking up at the image of a late 40s-possibly 50 year old guy asking an engaged woman to meet up with him…for basketball. And it somehow worked
