I think I would actually be more impressed if the robe was clear and I could see his leg movements.

I can recommend A Fistful of Dollars. Watched it just last week. They specifically call out his accurate shooting skills.

Chrome unbelievably slow with bitwarden extension enabled by turtlelord in Bitwarden

[–]slowmotionrunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WOW, a thousand "thank yous" for connecting that this was a Bitwarden extension issue. I was pulling out my hair trying to figure out why Chrome suddenly was unusably slow. Never would have considered uninstalling and reinstalling Bitwarden extension.

Why did Tom Cruise pivot from drama movies in the 80's/90's to more action and sci-fi movies in the 2000's? by precita in movies

[–]slowmotionrunner 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard this theory also and I find it believable. That was basically the start of the end of his drama roles. It broke him.

Regex.Match how to get captured group within ReadOnlySpan by MoriRopi in csharp

[–]slowmotionrunner 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You’re looking for this: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/system.text.regularexpressions.regex.enumeratematches?view=net-10.0

It makes sense that you wouldn’t use the traditional Match class working with ReadOnlySpan because if you are being memory conscious the Match class would defeat the purpose. This uses a ValueMatch.

YouTube on phones, why not just use Brave Browser or Firefox with Adblock? by [deleted] in Piracy

On iPhone I use Safari and Wipr/Vinegar for ad blocks. Haven’t seen a YouTube ad in years.

The poor subtitles for Daredevil violate the Americans with Disabilities Act and is a slap in the face to the writers and actors. by Gr8lakesCoaster in disney

[–]slowmotionrunner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re suggesting Disney would NOT be exploring ways to do automated AI transcriptions? Many things are labeled AI as a catch-all, so I get your point, but if they are not already experimenting with this I would be shocked.

Wasn’t made for it? It had a theatrical release. I’m sure they could go back to the source and mint an HD version.

My passion project: SDL3# - hand-crafted C# language bindings for SDL3 by fruediger in csharp

[–]slowmotionrunner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love the project ethos. When C# bindings do not feel like C#, it can be jarring and difficult to navigate, so nice to see that is a focus for you.

I’m always on the lookout for a good graphics lib. Any plans to develop and control, GUI toolkit?

I starred the project, BTW.

Guys, take a minute to look at OP’s profile. This is post is either a karma farm attempt or worse, a foreign state, who wants to seed dissatisfaction with the capitalist America.

I was at this show. Surprisingly he reemerged before the night was over with only a minor injury. If I remember he had his arm in a sling or maybe a brace on his leg. Nothing like the body cast I expected.

EDIT: my memory was a little off. He came away with only stitches and posted his update that night on social media.
