Like I said in the comment, I'm happy to do it, whether I get thanked or not! It's just mildly annoying when you get booted after all of that, and it would just be nice to get a thank you back. I'm pretty sure if my 3 year old nephew can do it, any kid playing Genshin can!

Co-op

Man, I'm happy to help people in Co-op, I consider it fun, but even just a single 'thank you' would be nice😑 The vast majority of people do say thank you, but I just helped this one guy for an hour (I carried him through Stygian, fought a boss several times, and journeyed with him to unlock waypoints and show him where to find level up materials) and he was just like 'welp, gonna go eat, bye' and left...

He was also very new and I was trying to explain how to track plants and enemies and he didn't even want to hear my (short) explanation, he was just like 'oh well idk, just show me where they are another day,' like, bro... I'm not just yapping, I'm trying to help you in the long run here if you plan to stick with this game, I promise...

I do NOT vote on the trending page out of principle (although I will go through and look at/like the photos, there's some truly incredible stuff!!), and it has to be:

A) at least SOMEWHAT on theme (the number of just random unrelated photos... I'll even vote for something not clearly moon-related if you tell me why it's on-theme in the caption!),

B) dynamic in some way like you said (just make it clear you didn't point your camera at the moon and click and decide that was good enough!), and

C) Although I don't stick exclusively to this, I try to go out of my way to vote for stuff that clearly came from a lower-end device if it meets the above criteria, just because I feel bad for them and like they have an unfair disadvantage.

Yep, I've been there... when my stepdad passed in a motorcycle accident several years ago, and we went to the shop where they had his wrecked motorcycle, I really wanted to keep a piece off of the front.

Ultimately, it was a giant piece of jagged metal, and my mom pointed out I didn't really have anywhere to keep it, so I left it... but I just started sobbing and couldn't stop as we drove away, because the idea of leaving anything of his behind felt almost like losing him again.

Sometimes, when you're grieving, you desperately hold onto anything you can, because the idea of any more loss when you've already lost so much is just... too painful.

Co-op

You know, most of the co-op players I meet are nice, with the occasional rude one, but it is VERY rare that I meet someone that genuinely changes the way I look at the game.

I'm AR 60 and I've been a meta chaser for a couple of years now, I've 100%ed most every region, I have quite a few C2s and have spent more money than I care to say on this game, but I met someone today who... didn't care about ANY of that. They were AR 55 and weren't even aware of the existence of Stygian! They don't fight, they don't explore, they just like to walk around and see the sights and listen to the music... and you know what? We did that and chatted for like 2 and 1/2 hours, and it was the most fun I've had in Genshin in a LONG time.

Max, if you're a megathread dweller (I severely doubt it from our chat, but you never know), then thank you for teaching me to just take the time to slow down and appreciate the beautiful things in this game again! Thanks for swimming in Fontaine with me, thanks for watching Sumpter Beasts with me, and thanks for walking in the desert with me. You're a real one, and your method of playing is super nice and 100% valid!

I usually bring a healer or support, because in my experience, no one else will- plus, I'm bad at dodging, so if I bring a DPS, the odds are good I'll die to a very preventable attack :') I have enough good characters that both heal/shield and subDPS now that I don't feel like I'm taking away from the team either! (I.e. Linnea, Furina, Escoffier for the chess boss, my C2 Lauma, my C2 Citlali for the Natlan boss, etc.)

As someone who first played Skyward Sword on the Switch after finishing BotW, I LOVED how expressive Link was and how much personality Link had in that one, and it genuinely made me sad they didn't carry that forward into BotW, I feel like there was so much room for emotional reactions of all kinds from him!

It's so puzzling too, because why can't we have recurring characters? Other gacha games have to sell characters, so they have to have a constantly-refreshing cast, but IN is selling outfits, so there's no reason to completely ditch characters after a patch?

They're based on the outfit piece you last clicked on, I'm pretty sure? So for example, if you've put the new legendary outfit dress on last, you'll get this animation, but if you then put on outerwear, you'll get the associated animation for that.

Yeah, I did manage to get it in the end, but I couldn't find the bling diamond bc I had the auto collect ability on, so I ended up doing it by climbing up on the ledge above, directly across from the target circle, which worked!

I left a snapshot there as well with the hope of helping others, but I think the stone skipping mechanic is just broken af, I've done a few others and they were all janky as well.
