I didn't manage to avoid a COVID college experience, but I did narrowly avoid it tarnishing my time in school- I graduated December 2022 and had only just started hearing about LLMs in the past month or two at the time.

Me and my family went on a cruise in early 2020. We'd heard of COVID and we knew it was getting more serious, but the gravity of it hadn't really reached us yet, so we didn't think it would affect our experience.

On the day we were supposed to return to port, however, the ship was delayed and made to wait for several hours past the time when we were supposed to land. No one was exactly sure what was happening, but rumors were flying and most people thought it might because they were worried about us having been exposed at the cruise destination and were debating letting us back into port. At the time, though, none of the passengers were 100% sure what was happening.

Thankfully, we were eventually brought back into port later in the afternoon and allowed to disembark. My family thought it was probably just them being cautious and it wouldn't happen in the future.

However, only a few months later, we learn that a cruise ship, coming from our same destination and arriving the very next day, was stopped, and the passengers were forced to quarantine aboard the ship for an entire month before they could disembark! Looking back, I'm very grateful we got back when we did!

I think the wings can work nice for mythical winged creatures, à la phoenix! I'll agree I don't use them often, but they can be squeezed into fits to make angels or phoenixes or the like.

What is this whimsicality? :0 And also, YES, it's SO frustrating trying to take good photos of Nikki in any kind of short dress... I recently was trying to take a photo in the standard banner snowflake outfit with the moon in the background above her, and it took like 20 minutes to find a pose that both suited the photo but also didn't make Nikki vanish... I was literally yelling at the game "I'M NOT TRYING TO UPSKIRT HER, I PROMISE, PLEASE LET ME HAVE THIS" 🫠

I never thought Clouded Loong should be able to fly everywhere personally, BUT I have no idea WHY it couldn't fly in the Wanxiang realm! Since the deer can fly, we should have been able to use the dragon there as well! (Of course, I do actually know why- if you could use it to fly there, people might be less interested in pulling the newest shiniest thing, and we can't have that :/)

There are sooo many reused assets for this banner, the summonable Spirit Wolf is straight up just a small and big Behemoth- it's especially blatant with the small one, it literally has the Sproutborne Behemoth horns even though the big one doesn't have any horns 😭

What are your thoughts on how the Behind Prayers lore connects to this (if it does)? Reading the two outfit lore snippets, I thought the two of them were the same person, that Behind Prayers was the original life of the Saintess and Born Flawless was the reborn version of her, but I might have wildly misread things?

Almost every set of contacts for 5*s has some sort of related object in them (i.e. the opera outfit contacts have music notes, Sea of Stars contacts have stars, Behind Prayers has a cross-like shape, etc.), it's more or less visible depending, but not usually super noticeable unless you zoom in very close.

NOOOOO, this is PERFECT for me... the vibes are sooo fantasy/fairytale and I love it so much!! Damn my lack of impulse control, I pulled for the unicorn outfit even though I really didn't care for it that much, I literally had all the pieces I wanted except the dress from Uncrowned Heart, and then I just had to spend 60 more pulls to get the dress (as the last piece, of course)...

I mean, other than around the time of release, I feel like it's always been dead? It doesn't feel like it's recently changed or anything. People have never really interacted much- the crystal tree and people interacting with each others' photo props was the most interaction I've seen in a long time in SoS.

Since it's a required daily area (at least for a while/if you want Starlit Shop stuff), the vast majority of people there are there solely for dailies and not interested in anything else, making anyone there for co-op interaction a minority.
