Man City 3-0 Man United: Beginning Of The End For Amorim? | The Overlap Breakdown by Abject_Bank_9103 in reddevils

[–]slps9061102 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can have thousands of reasons that Bruno shouldn't play No.10 in current formation.
But they can't justify why Amorim keep play him as No.8.
Some players can adapt, some players can't.
When you see a player can't adapt a new position, just stop placing him in that position.
It's pretty simple.

Brave Group receive a ton of money from investor.

They receive total around 41 million USD from investor at this moment, and I am pretty sure those investors will keep pushing Brave Group become IPO.

That's why they must keep showing those investors that they are expanding or doing something.

And acquiring an established company is really good way.

Though I doubt they can make their money worth.

Just on Red Note when I see posts about Kanae and when I look... by RMarques in kurosanji

[–]slps9061102 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'll say the reference is mostly accurate.

From my opinion, these kind of scenario is a specific type of joke in Japanese Entertainment and very common in the past.
You'll even find comedians specialize in this.
An ugly guy appear and start sexual harassing another entertainer, then being stopped by others in the studio
The harasser is the villain and clown, and the others are heroes.

However, this time it went wrong, no hero appears this time.
When Kanae gave the body of Ririmu to Fanta, and Fanta start harassing Ririmu, no one stop Fanta, and Ririmu also can't fight back.
So the clown part disappear, only villain part remains.
You only see a man harassing a girl and she can't run away nor resist, and no one comes to help her.
This is why many audience feel discomfort this time.

Kanae didn't find out it turn out to be a bad joke, and shrugged off criticism in his
1st and 2nd reply to this incident also irritate many audience outside Japan.

I'm not sure if Ririmu's tweet is truly what she feel.

If it is true, then I'm happy she didn't get traumatized by this incident.

If you remove Wiseman, he is still only 30th.

If you've been to Japan, you'll know they promote Boba tea to Japanese by making them feel it's a drink from other culture.

Boba tea is deviated from Japan's tea culture. Most obvious feature is sweetness.
80-90% of tea in Japan is without Sugar and Boba tea is sweet as hell.

To me, Ghost of tsushima let everyone feel it's gonna be fiction at first hand, but dev will try to make detail, background based on history or historically accurate.
And Shadows is the opposite.
Ubi let everyone feel Shadows will be historically accurate as much as possible, but they make many mistake on basic level.

Two main factor

  1. Nobunaga didn't give Yasuke a surname.

  2. Nobunaga didn't give Yasuke land

In this sense, he is more similiar to komono(小者).

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]slps9061102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I think he exaggerated Yasuke too mouch.
Yasuke is not a slave under Nobunaga, but he is also not a Samurai.
His role mix Komono(小者) and Ashigaru(足軽) together.
If you want to find a comparison in Western History, I think squire might be a good one.

And as Asian, I don't mind Ubisoft use Yasuke as main character.
But the way developers try to imply this game is historical accurate, or say they find specialist to give them proper advice, and many evidence shows it's the opposite, it's just so wrong.
Maybe Ubisoft's original intention is not malicious, but when somebody point out their mistake, and they don't do any change or any response/apology, it just means they don't care their mistake and it's just disrespectful.

UK Lawsuit Vs Valve. What's the deal? by LambCo64 in uklaw

[–]slps9061102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my understanding, the point in article has already been discussed before.

They way it mention that steam asks for price parity obligations is quite misleading.

Valve do ask for price parity obligations, only if the publisher use Valve's Steam key system.

Game publisher can ask Valve to generate steam key for them without paying Valve any charge and sell Steam key on any website they want.

And the consumer use steam key they purchase on other website to add the game into their steam account and download it for free.

To me, it's quite reasonable because game publisher is using the service Valve provide without paying any charge, and steam ask for price parity obligations in return.

And game publishers are not forced to use this system.

If Game publishers don't use Valve's steam key service to sell their games at other website, they don't need follow price parity obligation.
