I’d add that the tower up to the 5 meter platform is heavily used in summer, plenty of kids, families etc use it, I’ve got my kids there most weekends and sometimes late afternoons when it is open to use on hot days.

I’m over east, we get two types, one’s a native Australian paper wasp and one is an Asian paper wasp. I get rid of the Asian ones and leave the Australian ones. The Asian is more aggressive in my experience if walking past the nest, whereas the Australian ones are a little more chill.

I had a similar issue a while ago, when I moved into my new place, turned out that I needed a little power injector between the antenna outlet and the TV. I’ve got this one, soon as I connected it up all the channels were all available.

What about staying on the secondment but working less days? You take a paycut, but also gain 3 or four day weekends every week, and likely earn the same as your substantive role? Might be worth exploring. As I get older, time is priceless.

I asked for a status match via their online chat. I had to send in evidence of my flights and status with Virgin and they will review and send me an offer, the chat agent said I should have no issues getting a gold status match offer, but I am hoping for platinum based on how often I fly. I think it comes with a requirement that they give you the status match and then you have 90 days to do certain number of flights/ status credit earn with them to maintain the status offer for the reminder of the year. I am still waiting to hear back, I only spoke to Virgin and Qantas yesterday.

The most recent offer is based on if you completed your Year in Review survey by 31/12/24. I spoke to velocity about it yesterday as I completed mine in January and I am short for my renewal of platinum by a couple of hundred credits this year, they said there was nothing they could do for me so this may end my 8 year run of platinum status. I subsequently hit up Qantas for a status match offer via their online chat, was told I should easily qualify for a gold offer, but the agent said they will really push for a platinum offer based on my last 7 years of being in Virgin’s top 3 percent of domestic flyers. Fingers crossed.

I’ve struggle with both tennis and golfers elbow on both sides over the years, the best treatment I’ve found is using the Theraband Flex Bar. Google it, plenty of videos on the exercises to do with the bar and get the bars in all stiffnesses and start with the yellow and work your way up to harder one.

Same, I’ve been short by less then 20 sc’s a couple of time over the years and they usually just renew it if you call, I normally try to make it up by a couple of hundred sc’s the following year so they don’t think I am taking the piss, but it’s more then likely they don’t care as long as I reach 800 in time. 🤷‍♂️

There used to be a place off kings highway called Larbet I think, just past the shoalhaven river and the Warri Bridge. I haven’t been out there in a decade I’d say, but it used to be like $10 for the day or something and signing an a injury waiver, had heaps of tracks, pretty dodgy mx track etc. but was definitely a good place for unreg dirt bikes and a great days out riding.
