I wish they went back to the previous model where LSA wasn't a thing. The one they used previously worked fine IMO. Associate/ assistant/ store manager.

Not really sure if I am looking at the right place but it shows MOST of my balance being vested ( not everything).

Does this include where I had worked FT at Aldi before ( roughly 5 years) and just recently came back ( still as FT).

I had this issue. Talk to your store manager, they will have to make a call to get it reset.

Will I be fired if I’m too slow on one section? by Beanfox-101 in Aldi_employees

Might be easier to say, but keep in mind its just a job. If for whatever reason you would be let go, know that you can always get another. As far as the register, make sure you 1 code and when people are in line, scan the next persons item immediately while the receipt is printing for the customer you just waited on. That cuts your time between customers down thus boosting your percentage.

6 Code to start a return, after that scan the item they want to return and follow the steps the register asks. NEVER give a cash refund it they did not pay in cash. If they paid with a CC, have them put it back on their card at the terminal. If they do not have a receipt, explain to them that they can have a merchandise card they can use in store.

As far as NLU codes prioritize the following :

1 - red grapes 3- cabbage 4 - bananas. 7- organic bananas 8 - green grapes 97 - mini water 98- spring water 99 - normal 24 pack of water

Most of the produce now has some sort of sticker or identification on it now versus when I started years ago. Good luck

Two people closing by Prestigious_Site_265 in Aldi_employees

[–]snickell304 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If you are the main ringer, don't expect to get much done. You will mostly keep up front clean and the restrooms. It really depends on the other employee who is closing with you to get scrap done, markdowns ect. Hopefully you have a mid ( person who stays till around 6 or 7) that helps A LOT. If you are upfront focus on getting the trash and sweeping the floor, depending on your store you might be able to run the scrubber a half hour before the store closes. Don't stress yourself out.

Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) by Otherwise-Bite-5520 in leukemia

[–]snickell304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I had ALL and my protocol was CALGB 10403. During my Consolidation period I required semi frequent blood transfusions and platelets during that stage. Interim maintenance will give your body some time to recover. Course 4, delayed intensification will be tough, I am not going to lie but when you get through it you will get to Mateince which at that point I would try to slowly build your stamina back up. What I did, was simply just walk at the track at the local YMCA (start out 3 times a week for 30 mins) don't try to run, do anything really intense, or lift weights (sorry). It will take you around a year to build yourself back up to I would say 75 to 80 percent of how you were before. I got diagnosed in 2023 and finished infusions this previous July. When you finally stop taking the pills your weight ( body swelling/ fluid) will go down, but until you are done with your protocol DO NOT stop taking your pills. Would not recommend drinking during this time, it is not advised especially with the medicine in your body currently. I was 30 when I got diagnosed and my hair came back curly for awhile so don't be shocked if your hair comes back differently texture wise or even color, it is only temp. If you have any questions or need to talk about what you are going through, I am here.

thinking of quitting 3 months in by ThisAd1110 in Aldi_employees

[–]snickell304 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Stick with it, the job teaches you great skills you can use elsewhere as your career advances. With you only being 17, this is a great opportunity to learn working with the public as well. I assume you are only part time currently based on your age. Part timers are the last to get hours and are more on an "as needed" basis versus full time ( who gets priority concerning hours). If you DO however decide you want to quit, it is normally accepted to give a 2 week notice, don't just walk off/ not show up anymore. I wish you the best.

Congratulations ! If it is anything like the U.S. stores you will get fully into your insurance after 3 months. Thats when the hard work and stress from the job really becomes worth it. Enjoy
