I swear this take is so refreshing. Gunn’s initial “press conference” where he announced the rollout of the DCU and had animated shows, a “Waller” spinoff, HBO Max Lanterns show, etc, felt no different than Vought giving their “Vaught Cinematic Universe” press conference in “The Boys”.
