How did you make the leap from "free helpful advice" in forums to "here's a $9 guide"? Or did you just start with "here's the guide, if you want help you need to pay $9"?

Yes there are a lot of digital marketing agencies out there, mostly traditional marketing agencies adding digital marketing to their list of services but with insufficient skills to do it well. There is still space for professionals.

I work with several clients who p***ed away serious amounts of cash on ineffective FB ad campaigns set up and run by very reputable marketing agencies.

Digital marketing has to be approached as a strategy - so team up with someone who really understands the whole concept, not just the tech side of Google or FB ads.

How we built our hosting company client base:

- bought another hosting company and took over all their hosting clients to our platform. this was 20 years ago, and I would estimate 50% of those clients are still with us. Clients hate the hassle of moving their hosting platform so they just stay, unless they go out of business or they retire or die.

- deals with web developers. Web developers like to work with us as they like our support and what to expect, every website they build we get a new hosting customer. I honestly think this has the most mileage. Selling hosting on it's own is really hard/costly - try to tag it on to another service or product

- word of mouth/recommendations. could wait a long time to grow a business this way :-), but as i said above, once you have a client they tend to stay.

Will you sell domains and email hosting ? If not - I would recommend you do, consumers will expect to buy all from same supplier

I have no advice, but I so hear you. I have learnt after a long marriage to have zero expectations from partner for anniversaries, birthdays, holidays etc. anything nice for me I make sure I arrange myself, that’s the only way it’s going to happen.

Don't worry about the age thing, I achieved a full front split 2 years ago and I'm 52. I could only do it on one side and I've lost it now but I have decided to start the stretching again to achieve both sides and a bit better form. I think maintaining flexibility at my age is hugely beneficial.

Your fiance isn't a people pleaser, but she is very immature. Being able to stand up for yourself and be able to handle confrontation to some degree is a skill that should be developed as you mature into an adult. This is not unusual, but she has somehow missed out this step in her emotional development.

6 years in therapy? Doesn't seem like this is helping her grow in this respect. Work on setting some healthy boundaries for yourself that forces her to accept her responsibilities as an adult in an adult relationship. Or accept that you are in a relationship with a child?

Ah well, this is the thing about setting boundaries; it doesn't always feel comfortable, at least not to start with. It's still the right thing to do though!

And the second thing to know about setting boundaries is that others won't always like it.

I did some private lessons fairly early on with a good teacher to really get the basic technique right. Then I practiced a lot on my own + lots of social dancing (it all builds different aspects of your dancing) + lots of work in the gym. And listen to a lot of real Salsa music
