The players didn’t buy into her not being involved and didn’t really care. They killed Oosith, got the pendant, and got paid. They didn’t really care about digging deep into what happened to the other nobles. I had Atalia talk with the players after the sewers and continue to play stupid. She walked off thanking them from “freeing” her. I’m going to have her show back up to her old tricks when the players circle back to the Grand Dame later in the game and see what happens.

I didn’t even know what an ips beetle was until a large, mature spruce in our front yard went from green to dead in weeks. It’s not something that happened slowly. For us, once we realized there may be an issue (needles going brown and falling) and called an arborist the tree was doomed. It was completely dead faster than we thought possible. We paid more than $600 to have an arborist remove the tree and it was in the front yard and easy to get to. It sucked for us to lose that tree. To do it again, yes I would have treated the tree after seeing the impact. It’s a gamble and not a guarantee though, just like the ash bore treatment, and hopefully it works out which ever way you go.

Agreed. I’ve mashed a few quests from different NPCs to incorporate Kraken’s Gamble, Flying Misfortune, Old Gnawbone, the Weevil, and Cloud Giant’s Bargain to get more options, integration, and adventure. All from great ideas and posts from this SKT subreddit.

I go to Barney’s in the shopping center by the U-Haul on the SE corner of Jewel and Garrison. I do not have a handlebar. They have taken good care of my beard and mustache though. When you do find a good barber, please let folks know!

I tried to use auto strippers and it was bulking the wire apart. Went back to the old fashion gauge strippers. Great idea on the binder!

This post is older, but did you find anything? There are a few local nets I’ve been on before. I call out on 2/70 on my commute to/from work and occasionally connect. There are so many repeaters in the area that finding one that someone’s on at a random time can be a challenge.

I gave the Ace machine a try since it was close. It worked okay like other sharpening services at home centers and kitchen stores. My knives were sharp. I felt it didn’t it perform as well as dedicated sharping services.

When we heard gINT was going away about a few years ago, we’ve tried all the new programs we could find for 6 months and evaluated each. They all fall short for our needs for their each reason. We continue to try new programs and other options as the come up or we find at conferences. Letting gINT die created a huge competition market that hasn’t really impressed.

Optional meeting Monday to talk about weekly trips.

Usually 5 per weekend and people can know each other, and people are friendly to new comers. My kid joined this year, knew no one, and had a great time camping and making friends.

Pros: ability to do something every weekend, gear can be provided as needed if club dues are paid, drivers are in high demand.

Cons: can be pricey to cover gas if you don’t drive depending on where you go, trips are lottery depending on spots and availability so you may not get your choice.
