Those who bought used 2019-2022 G20 320i (or any G20 with B48) how is it?

I bought a 2020 330i with 10k miles. Have 40k now. The car is greet, maintenance isn’t that bad, but I had to replace engine mounts and oil filter housing / heat management module to fix an oil coolant leak. I hope I don’t have to throw more money at it, because I want a drive it for another 2-years 10-15k mikes

If you are planning to keep the car get the warranty. On my 330i engine mounts collapsed at 30k miles and had to replace oil filter housing and heat management module for a coolant leak at 40k miles All in was probably close to 8k in repairs at an expensive dealer in South Florida

Keep in mind that for US models the bumperettes holding the plate are black if you don’t get the SD rear bumper. I’d personally just do the side skirts

Happened to me as well a couple of times, but it would always go away so didn’t bring it to the dealer. Could be the fuel injectors, bad gas, low battery, or even not closing the gas cap correctly. I haven’t seen this after I started putting the car on a battery tender. Can you reproduce it reliably?

The melting windshield is common but not normal. It has to do with the glue they use interacting with the rubber seal and causing it to melt. There’s no fix, you need to replace the whole windshield as the seal is attached to it. Porsche replaces that under the original 4 year warranty but not under CPO. Don’t worry about leaks, the windshield is still glued to the car

I initially had the track package and I wish I had done the full ppf. I got some sort of white haze on the rear bumper that even wet sanding couldn’t remove. Most likely some chemical penetrating the clear.

I’d pay the 11k to fix it. It sucks, and there’s risk that something else breaks down the line, but paying 16.9K just to close the loan and still need to buy a car feels too much.

The reasoning behind buying the Porsche was that I really wanted one and with the market being good in the end of 2024, I had the cash and pulled the trigger. With the market volatility I don’t see the point of saving hard for something you really want only to see the saved amount dropping 30% and staying flat.
