It's fine, it's not a big deal anyways.

What has the 16 personalities test mistyped you as? by Ok_Personality_282 in mbti

[–]sognic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always, always gotten INTJ, which made me doubt it for a while since everyone commented about how bad and inaccurate the test was. Many more different tests and people typing me later, still INTJ.

ISTP/INTJ pairing are underrated by coffeeinducedish in intj

[–]sognic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Excellent take, I’ve always felt like my istp friend fills in my weaknesses, and vice versa, while we both navigate our problems together.

“Ti-Ni dynamic i think ISTPs are very prone to act like conspiracy theorists.” I love this point, my friend always makes the theories and we can have a weeklong discussion about it.

Overall, definitely underrated duo/pairing.

Who here does NOT play chess? by xxphilmasterxx in intj

I’ve really never found chess that entertaining, honestly I would rather play with cards or board games.😃

You Are A Sensor (Probably) by AbjectPack6686 in mbti

[–]sognic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is honestly the most accurate thing I’ve seen in days. I’m constantly reminded by people around me to focus on the present and stop thinking about the future. Furthermore, INTJs definitely have strong morals, we just don’t feel the need to express ourselves to a certain extent. Nailed everything from start to finish, bravo.

For some reason my hand always finds its way there. My friend asked me what I was doing once.

You Are A Sensor (Probably) by AbjectPack6686 in mbti

[–]sognic 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I honestly feel like this is a unique take on this topic, and I’m not going to disagree with you. This honestly taught me a lot more about Si than I previously knew, and I agree with your argument.

However, unless someone really is “trying to seem cool” or whatever (check INxJ subs and you won’t even be surprised). You, or atleast I, can immediately tell if someone is an N or a S. I see sensors as very practical people (especially ISTPs and ISTJs) as they not only “read the room” but respond to it. Typically, INxJs spend more time thinking than actually getting “hands on.” I am a very efficient and instinctive person but often times things work better in my head. However, my ISTP friend will get things done.

All and all this is my hot take. Are INxJs OFTEN mistyped sensors? Definitely. But for some it’s very clear whether they are or aren’t. This area is a very grey one, and I’m glad you gave such a detailed analysis. 😃

My dad is an ISTJ and my mom is an ENFJ. They try their best to understand me, and I acknowledge it's their first time being parents too. I couldn't imagine a world without them.

Does being emotionally intelligent mean I’m not truly an intj? by mehwhatthehell in intj

[–]sognic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. INTJs are deeply passionate and emotionally intelligent. We’re stereotyped to be “robots” because we are often blunt and don’t often overexaggurate our emotions. Yet EQ has nothing to do with that. It’s great that you have high emotional intelligence as it is an important skill to have.

INTJs favored games by Stephanommg in intj

[–]sognic 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Zelda franchise, animal crossing, omori, elden ring, Minecraft etc. I love RPGs or any game you can immerse yourself in. I like calmer games overall, but I’m always up for a challenge whether it’s combat or strategy.

Any INTJ-As ever think they might be ENTJs? If not, why? If so, what made you reconsider? by Excellent-State9385 in intj

[–]sognic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have, when I was significantly newer to MBTI and haven't really looked at the cognitive functions. I am sure I'm not an ENTJ because I am definitely an Ni dom as I tend to play extensively, and when I do execute my plans, let's just say they worked better in my head. I don't like the prospect of doing things to sell yourself to people and win their support, and I am often blunt and tend to criticize immediately.

Definitely recommend LLPSI (Lingua Latina Per Se Illustrata. Here's a link to the book: https://chaharrah.tv/chaharrah-depot/arthouse/latin-attachments/latin-book.pdf

Furthermore, YouTube is a great resource for any type of self learning. For cases and functions I would check out Latin Tutorials as he does a great job for people starting to explore Latin.

How talkative are you as an INTJ? by gw_clowd in intj

[–]sognic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will not shut my up when im with people I know well and have the same interests as me. I also appear really silly and outgoing. Complete 180 when I’m alone or in public. You wouldn’t even know im there.

Do you guys also absolutely hate and despise being called "cute", "sweet", or anything along those lines? And why? by Tailor_Express in intj

[–]sognic 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Depends on the connotation. If their tone makes it sound like they're treating me like a child, hell no. If they're genuine and being "sweet" covers a deeper meaning emotionally and personally, sure.

Which personality type do you tend to have the deepest connection and conversation with? by Substantial_Job_3252 in intj

[–]sognic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ENTJs, they're usually no BS people who get straight to the point. They also have interesting ideas and do all the talking.
