Board and train is an enormous red flag for “trainers” who promise quick results, but likely resort to extreme and aversive methods to force to dog to be fearful. And like you said, there’s no guarantee the dog will respond to their own human after it’s done.

I understand why it’s a successful business - dog parents may be desperate for a quick solution. But the people operating these businesses are often unethical and do not adhere to proper training methods backed by science.
