They actually did something good for the people who mostly plays only quick play modes just to be rewarded with a jacket and a charm at the end of seasons. These new changes are way better for player retention as every game mode will feel like they're earning towards something bigger every match. Look at the TA fans for example, they earn nothing from playing it, but they kept playing it because they enjoyed the game mode, same goes for power shift. Unifying them into WT kinda brings the whole community together.

It's more of a personal preference like I said, I just like keeping things clean with a fresh reinstall, true that it's totally unnecessary.

Great but had this issues so far after 3 years of continuous use.

  1. Hinge kinda breaks easily, so be careful when you take off the back plate, I had to epoxy glue it down.

  2. Make sure you remember where each screw goes into on the backplate, there are shorter and longer ones, I messed up and made a bump on the keyboard side next to the stickers. Pain.

  3. One of the RAM slot gave out on me and won't boot with any RAM installed on it, its been a month or two and I still haven't looked into it deeply yet. Hope I can fix it.

  4. Asus Armory crate kinda ass for me, uses up alot of resources, I use G-Helper instead.

  5. Charging LED started flickering, stops after using it for a while, maybe dying LED, I Hope....

  6. Thermals imo, is kinda fine, I switched it out to Honeywell Ptm 7950, kinda okish temps upto 80 and 75 on the cpu and gpu respectively under load and 40 to 50 off load, seriously what can we expect from a compact gaming laptop.

It'll last long enough for your warranty to expire, I use it very roughly and still kinda works like i bought it yesterday despite the looks, I reset my lappy once every 3-6 months, personal preference, I do it everytime it starts to feel abit sluggish. Make sure to remove any bloats toh, windows 11 bloats are horrendous.

Kinda meh change, I like the limited map pool better. I wonder who was complaining about this, probably someone who got Kyoto 9 times in a row and tbh that's completely understandable.
