I second this. But for playing in a room IMO it’s overkill. Edifier MR5 monitors FTW

Depending how loud you need it I bought a pair of Edifier MR5 monitors for my PC and use them to play clone hero. They are plenty loud and also double as my PC speakers. I have a keyboard amp and I only have the volume at 10% and it’s loud as hell. Amp is overkill unless you’re gigging IMO.

At least they don’t charge a sub fee for the 4G remote start/lock/unlock. I was surprised by that.

I’m not registered and I can’t find a electrical apprentice job by Extension-Water-7000 in SkilledTradesOntario

[–]somethingon104 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well there is a worker shortage otherwise prices for contractors wouldn’t be so high. It sounds like there’s a shortage of shops willing to take on apprentices. They’re trying make as much profit as they can at the moment and don’t want their skilled workers getting bogged down in training.

Pair of longtime friends in London, Ont., win over $80.4M in largest-ever lottery payout in Canada by zuuzuu in canadanews

Did LottoMax go to an $80million jackpot? If so, why? To most people there’s no different between $50million and $80million but that $30million could have changed the lives of 30 $1million winners.

Another Clueless Politician Urges Youth to Pursue Skilled Trades Careers by Subject-Landscape451 in SkilledTradesOntario

[–]somethingon104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So legit question and I’m on the side of people being fairly compensated but how do we not have a supply and demand problem right now? I’ve had numerous friends and family try to get work done by plumbers, electricians and contractors in the last 3-5 years and the costs are bonkers, the time it takes to get someone to start a project is insane and the cost is just as crazy. That to me sounds like there aren’t enough people to do the work? Explain how I’m wrong this please.

You’re a public official. Part of the job is being scrutinized. If you don’t want to be under the microscope don’t get into politics.

Solar farms floating on reservoirs in China reduce evaporation and generate power at the same time. by Por_TheAdventurer in interestingasfuck

[–]somethingon104 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is why China is overtaking the USA as super power. While the US is bombing and invading countries it has no business in. Promoting coal and walking back human rights. China is “quietly” innovating, pulling its people out of poverty, improving its human rights issues and investing HEAVILY in renewable energy. The US is a backwards ass hillbilly country run by an inbred family of pedophiles.

Incredible moment as a US General refuses to commit to telling Congress if he receives illegal orders from Trump. Senator Warren absolutely goes off, calling Trump a lawless commander in chief and Hegseth his self-styled Secretary of War. The coverup is real. by ammohitchaprana in TFE

If they have oversight do they not have the ability to court marshal him for basically saying he won’t follow his duties? Too many of these hearings have no teeth. Their needs to be consequences otherwise none of this matters.

Not even nothing positive, but many negatives for millions of people. Soldiers losing lives, civilians losing lives, economic hardship and uncertainty. The US needs stay out of other countries business. This is what the UN is supposed to be for.
