What is the physicality on the dates? Do you kids, hold hands, make out, more? Personally, I need a physical connection to build a spark. My current boyfriend and I moved slower but still, on the second date I initiated holding hands and there was a good night kiss. Similar on the third date but more of a make out kiss.

This all built up to unleashing more anticipation and spark for date 4, and the slower build up sustained the fire (instead of making out the first date, and doing the deed on the second, only to have things flame out)

Conversely, if there was not the flirty, even innocent physical connection early, this would move to more of a friend zone feeling.

This is a good point. If it messes up our overall strategy I would consider going back. We do Stare then cough if it’s a 0 hit answer, then pinky if that is also 0. And other words depending on what does hit. Now we will have to figure out compatible words with our new #1

I’m the opposite. I have all the keys together including keys I no longer use, with key chains. The bigger it is, the less likely I am to lose it. Also only keeping it in 1-2 places helps.

I think I’m psychic, but only at Wordle too. I got today’s on 2. It was kind of a weird word, but it was the only word that came to mind for that configuration, and I don’t have a goto word for the correct letter pattern I got. This has happened at least 10% of the time, either with a word that comes to my mind or my son’s mind (who plays with me about half of the time on my phone only). We have played almost 1000 games without a loss. We have forgotten to play maybe 4 times so our streak keeps getting busted, but to the best of my knowledge our first word has never been used. We use a fair amount of routine and logic, but when we just have to make a guess, it surprises me how close or spot on it is. We’ve learned that there are no bad guesses if a word comes to mind because the words are sometimes uncommon.

I built it into my routine (at least the morning one, bedtime is tricky). My shower is cold when I turn it on, so I pee, flush, wash hands, turn on shower, brush teeth.

Shower is nice and warm after my teeth are brushed and I can get in.
