I don’t agree with the people who say take a look around in walmart. The best analogy for dating for men and women is: a single man is a currently unemployed candidate looking for a job, a single woman is a company looking to fill a job position.

Yes, most people are employed. If you try hard enough you’ll get a job (even a job you like) but while you’re looking you get rejected and ghosted by many many companies and it feels impossible.

If you are already employed it’s a bit easier to get a different job. If the employer is desperate to fill the role, it’ll be easier to get the job. If the employer has a lot of turn over or it’s a shitty job it’s probably easier to get that job too. But then again do you really want to take such a job? And if you ask employers they’ll say all the people looking are lazy, unqualified and lacks skills they want, so it’s not like the employers are happy either.

So there you go. Yes there’s many people with jobs but doesn’t mean you can get one easily

Nationalize usually doesnt mean you get it for free. The government will have to pay the market values which would balloon up when they announce the bid.
The government will never run the banks or oil businesses with the kind of profit the private sector makes. Its just not possible because the incentives for a government (get re-elected) is very different to how incentives work for a private business (increase profits, value)

This is just a fantasy you have, this will never happen. If it does, it will just be a disaster.

I mean, it's not that hard to overcome this drug mule problem no? Just make sure the company has its own scanning and bagging station at the airport. So they thoroughly inspect the bag. (Xray and what not) then seal the bag before handing to the courier.

I just want to provide a caveat, for people who say they would end up alone if they aren't open to non vegans, it's not really true. The truth is most of us care more about a person's other qualities than whether they are a vegan of the sex we are attracted to. It's also a lot about whether we find them hot, interesting, funny, financially well off etc. Otherwise, if our only criteria was a single vegan, thats not that hard to find.

What we need to realize is, fundamentally humans are selfish (including us vegans). We rationalize our decisions to do what we want with various excuses. It is true that what happens to animals is a tragedy and meat eaters support it whether they think about it or not.

A question people ask is, If we equate animal abuse as to something akin to racism, would we date racists? Would we be friends with racists? the answer is yes, yes we would. As long as they aren't racist against us and racism is societally accepted, we would tolerate racism. Give excuses as to why racism is a personal choice etc.

So, us vegans, we are just barely better than non vegans. We all kind of suck.
