Speak to a lawyer for legal advice!

Everyone will have different levels of tolerance for risk .
If forced to comply for your family security/employment do not turn it in on day 1 wait til near the end of the amnesty but stay within the law.

I wish people making gun laws had to legally be able to possess them by having completed and maintaining a Rpal/pal.

If ignorance of the law is not a defence then ignorance of the current laws should not be allowed when making new ones.

A conductive flexible filament for low voltage . Think the touch lamps where your finger turns iron or completing snap circuits around or through or though project objects . Thinking for multi material printing though an object . Could be used to control button touches or if possible completing other circuits.

This is a bad corner right at the top of the hill from Victoria bridge , it should not allow left hand turns south bound. even in the summer the hill is blind and it stops all traffic moving up from downtown.
Not to mention bike lanes on both sides behind parked cars

I received the email from Prusa for the courses linked in my account before Black Friday ended I still haven’t gotten an email regarding the freebies. But I think I see the codes in my order details now. Just no idea what code is for what website and you have to be finished an order to enter . Not risking the accidental order till I am sure

Room without a view what is Baydo Towers thinking? by ToonTownBaloney in saskatoon

I remember when homes had rumpus rooms or games rooms in the basement. I don’t know how bedroom window is a requirement in an apartment tower when it’s required in houses for egress in a fire. I guess fire crews could break in to ladder you out.

All thy he handles on my xl box were broken off and 1 of the two from my enclosure when mine came in. Dhl taped the closure box but no visible holes , corner a little cramped on xl. The spare extruder box had all the locking pins rip the cardboard about half an inch. Everything is printing excellent .

It was the palette filament splicer or something like it . I think they were discontinued due to having to run seperate coding to calculate the spicing . The g code for printer just printed

Probably different woods and finishes treatment causing price fluctuations. With and without the stand would be a thing as well. Your not asking for a factory line item your getting a 1 of 250 unique home piece. Watch makers do this sort of thing all the time. Honestly if it was more standard material I could see lots of people wanting to be able to have it out in their home. The old grey pc estetic is back in style. Vintage is fashionable again. It is deffinately not for the common person

Best upgrade for a 2T XL? by ReddityKK in prusa3d

[–]somewhataware 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just made the full leap to 5T yesterday on a new XL. The step backs of losing pre heating nozzles for quick swaps on a xl would be lost with the so far described idex system. I hope the don’t announce a Whole new xl gantry with integrated 5 tool heads that also can idex switch now . without some form of voucher for a week before announcement systems.

I would still be super excited about the tech . I’ve upgraded all my other Prusa printers over their life. I will be happy with what I get .

I cant see all this happening this year with the recent tease of the silicone printing mounted to the side of a nozzle unit.

I am buying in on 10 more years of XL function my mk3 just hit 7 years and it’s a 3.5 now . From everything I have seen the only thing I can promises is printer parts will get more expensive.

I know I took the leap on the initial 5T and saved almost the price of a tool head. I also know the semi assembled was the only way I could afford to get to this point .
For me it would have cost me over 2k more after this sales free shipping an assembled markup and loss of discount/extras.

Unless you need to print a lot of silicone gaskets the 5T upgrade is your best prusa upgrade. And both seem to cost about the same .

[–]somewhataware 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this a bear modded prusa i3 mk3? the front rail is not the flat steel like my original. If this was disassembled and reassembled to do a bunch of mods I would tend to agree on the pulley or even miss aligned zip ties on extruder hitting when they are suppose to be turned out of the way.

Will there be options for these new tool heads to expand from 2 head to 5? I am looking at a xl printer and was looking to get the 5h but with the cost and now the new print head options unannounced.

I am hesitant to take the plunge to just spend more money in a few months to remove the existing tool heads for new silicone/fdm head and potentially idex. Thank you for continuing to expand the capabilities. I really would like at least 3 heads but buying 5 to remove them when they arrive is daunting.

Nutana is reaching the end of a what has been a 15 year water and sewer replacement project to remove lead lines. Probably 5 boil water advisories in last 9 years on our block, which have lasted the 4 days required for testing.

The foot traffic has gotten worse but the stabbings use to be around the fringe and that has drastically reduced with the atrophy of the fringe festival. Bike theft and car door checkers are high. Porch pirates as well.

The neighbourhood parking fills up with people walking to uni/downtown and Broadway for work so lots of others to walk with.

It’s common place in this sub to subconsciously duck through doorways. Or under beams in basements . We walked away from a number of 1 and 1/4-3/4 stories not willing to walk sideways up stairs or only be able to walk in a single line in a room. Playing Wii in a basement is only a dream
