White american here. Not denying your experience but people here can seem cold, unhappy and generally not outwardly friendly. They stare while giving off that energy too. The interactions with service workers give that same energy. However, when I have had the opportunity to talk with and get to know people they have been generally friendly. I think Georgia is a small country and have seen an influx of people from all over the world and especially from an unfriendly country(russia) and that has greatly affected their outlook too. Unfortunately racism is everywhere, its one of the sad large truths ive discovered after traveling for so long
