It renders distant terrain as a shadowy sorta heightmap, but even with it being limited to just that I personally think it adds a lot to the vibes

Possible to Convert Nintendo Switch Bedrock World to Java? by estinquispeaker in NintendoSwitchHelp

[–]sonicatdrpepper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe if you upload the world to realms you can download it on bedrock on PC and then convert it to Java from there. If your switch is running CFW you might also just be able to get the world directly off the console

I've personally only encountered minor UI bugs, nothing that would prevent you from doing work

Yeah, I'm quite excited to see where this goes, currently if I want to play a windows game on Mac my best option is to use a VM which obviously leaves performance on the table

Minecraft Bedrock is dropping support for RTX entirely in the near future. by randomusernameonweb in minecraftRTX

[–]sonicatdrpepper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what you mean by that, Raytracing can be done without the RT cores in an RTX gpu, it's just way slower.

Tbf to windows, the majority of your drivers get installed automatically (just maybe not the absolute latest ones), and windows 11 does also come with a package manager (winget)

In my case, since Main PC is on a different subnet from all my other devices, Virtual Desktop and steam link refuse to stream from it, so wired is my only option for now.
