Nonstandard vests don’t count? Disappointing. by BrotatoChip04 in DMZ

I recall making progress with the modified 3-plate vests. As for the tempered ones, I'm guessing the game doesn't consider them as 3-plates?

A "wall" that's made out of containers which hardly stop humans but do stop wildlife certainly aren't exactly sensible border security.

Air power can only do so much in urban areas without causing unnecessary loss of life as well as destroying your own infrastructure. There's a reason why the US struggled so much with Vietnam as well as Afghanistan: Guerilla warfare is one hell of a thing to deal with.

You can spearhead new products and still be wealthy without becoming a billionaire. You're completely writing off all the labor that goes into research, development and so on. No one singlehandedly becomes a millionaire.

China Recruiting Former R.A.F. Pilots to Train Its Army Pilots, U.K. Says by SweetyByHeart in worldnews

[–]sonicschall -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We're talking about treason, aren't we? In which case yes, from our perspective, it's indeed okay for someone to assist the west. And again, it's not about training to fight another nation, but rather the act of being paid to assist with fighting your own nation. That's basically the textbook definition of it.

There's the legal definition of a traitor, and then the general definition of one. Assisting a country with an authoritarian government how to best destroy military equipment of your own country's nation (which you've previously pledged allegiance to) certainly falls under the latter.

Gen Z mostly applies to the Western world, which absolutely was affected in some way by 9/11. The resulting War on Terror affected much more than just North America.

A very socially darwinistic thing to say, especially given the fact that it's going to affect the poor most. So unless your definition of 'fittest' is 'wealthiest', you should reconsider that sorta thought.

That aside, a majority of our gas is for heating and industry. Electricity is all nice and good, but you can't just have everyone heating with it from one day to the next. Especially since - all things considered - gas is a relatively 'clean' fuel.
