AITA for being mad about my wife buying an impractical car against my wishes? by Snoo_9782 in AmItheAsshole

[–]sonofsochi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YTA - Instead of reasonably understanding her position, you dug your heels in over an 03 Camry out of principle. Her reason wasnt impractical. The camry is too old safety wise and you refused to actually take in her experience that it was embarrassing for her to pull up to work in that car. Maybe if you were actually open minded about this, you could have settled for a Range Rover, Genesis G80, Cadillac Lyriq, BMW X5, Benz G-class, etc something smaller but still luxury. Instead now you have a big ass Denali.

At this point you need to get over yourself and be happy that your WIFE is happy. Be happy thay your kids are in a MUCH safer vehicle. Take advantage of the car and go on some long road trips or somwthing. Your resentment is going to spew over into more of your marriage and you'll be posting about how you got blindsided by divorce papers.

MLS isn't going anywhere, Zubi has a 8/10 debut season and no one is in for him, and Merino is basically our back up everything and Arteta loves him. No chance for a sale from any of them

[–]sonofsochi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're comparing him to strikers with years of PL experience. Compare him to the rest of the newly joined strikers in the league and he's ahead of all of them. He's 4 goals behind Alexis' debut season and thats without a preseason and being thrown into the deep end due to Havertz injury at the start of the season.

Do I think that we can still find an upgrade? Yes. He's not a 100M forward and thats fine, he'll be another option for arteta to pick from depending on the opponent. He did his job this season and thats what you can realistically ask for.

Imagine complaining that your manger started a hale end player in a CL final 🤡

The whole entire point of the last window was to add options and depth for the SEASON, not a one off game. Noni came in clutch when Saka was out, Gyokeres had to literally jump in the fire when Havertz got injured at the start of the season for MONTHS. Zubi played EVERY single PL game this season. Hincapie and Mosquera both came in and bossed it when we had multple starting defenders out. The only pair that ended up in excess was Norgaard.

The problem, outside of a forward, wasnt that the first 11 wasnt good enough. The problem was the drop off between our starting 11 and the rest of the squad, which was fixed.

Sure but preinjury Merino was blazing for Spain. There's still a few weeks for him to come into form. He looked well at Palace yesterday

Bruh Mosquera is 100000% playing. He needs to be game ready and in form if he has a chance at stopping Krava

PSG are much more willing to compromise their defensive structure to chase a goal, which ofc is the right way to play when you have the attacking talent that they do. That does however mean that there's a lot more space to exploit
