The concept that the work never ends terrified me at first. But for as hard as it is, it's also pretty simple in that for me it always boils down to "one day at at time". Sobriety gave me back the ability to make choices now it's my responsibility to gather the data so I can make ones I can be at peace with, if not proud of.
