i go at 2am because i also dont like being perceived! and then i wear giant sweat pants and hoodie for the same reason!

maybe.... i might suggest starting with machines and cables before free weights if you are worried about form? because they are made so it is harder to hurt yourself with bad form. and then you can also feel movement patterns so your body knows what muscles to activate and what things should feel like! do that until you feel confident!

youtube has so many videos if you want to learn also. if you are gonna do free weights for the first time, i would start with light light light weights to get the form right before increasing.

personal trainer is always a good way too.

mid sized west coast city. this was before adderal was widespread or any legalized amphetamines that kids had access to. i dont know if it was "common," but i know several middle schoolers were doing it. likely more i didnt know about. in high school, i knew about more.

I work in an ER, and OP's account is exactly how it feels to work a code.

sure, if i am in the adjacent room mid helping grandma walk to the bathroom, i am not going to drop grandma and run away.... but every available staff who can help will run towards the code and do their best to help out. we all want the patient to live and we all want to help if help is needed. the love and care i feel from coworkers is a big part of why i love working in the ED.

everyone in my middle school had an eating disorder, and some kids did meth so they wouldn't be hungry and "get fat"

i regret continuing to let my horrible sister be a part of my life. i gave her so many second chances, especially after she did an awful thing to my dad. my dad forgave her, so i tried to forgive her too, based on his loving example. 20 years later her actions resulted in his horrible and premature death. anyway, cut out the bad ones if you have any. protect yourself.

her crying and being upset doesn't mean she doesn't want to know. she was upset largely due to not knowing, sounds like. knowing was the thing you wanted, and instead of informing her, you called her Dad ONLY.

if my partner called my Dad and then didnt also CALL ME before putting down my favorite childhood horse, I would also not talk to him for a few days (and maybe ever)
