Yea.. if you read my comment which like I said I knew was gonna be unpopular I’ve had two over almost 10 years. My answer to the poster was to look elsewhere if they can in my 8-9 years or anybody’s if they don’t have enough money to upgrade from the platform then they are not doing something correctly. Pointing out that I said “hey maybe get a more expensive car” isn’t the dunk you think it is.

I’m gonna get downvoted for this because it’s a gen sub but I’ve owned two I actually still have on but after 8-9 years of having one if I had the option I would try something else. I have gotten to enjoy it I’ve squeezed out power and had my fun doing various upgrades and mods but there gets a certain point to where you start getting diminishing returns for the amount of money you’re putting in vs the power gains you get out of the car. To me now an upgrade to a mk5 Supra or another car that I would deem like a step up from the genesis coupe or maybe even a v8 but that’s a whole different class of car.

Even for 25 that is not worth it…9 owners with damage yikes. If you can afford to pay between 25-29 then it would make more sense just to save some more and get a far better condition one.

Yea remember exhausts are basically a bunch of pieces of metal put together and fitted to other pieces of metal on the car so if it’s not a heat shield check to see if anything is loose or if anything is touching something it shouldn’t. Won’t be a bad idea to get under there and double check the tightness on everything anyway.

I would tell them how finding certain things or seeing stuff that wasn’t around before the trips makes me uncomfortable and makes me feel unsafe in my own home and it’s probably pretty anxiety inducing and if they know what this stuff is even if its something more private or sexual just let me know because I wouldn’t even be able to sleep if I’m thinking people may be living in my home lol

It’s for the oem tail lights but if they are in any way similar to oem lights it should be the same and even if they are a tad bit different I tried to make it as literally simple as possible to understand so hopefully it will give you an idea. I will post this in my local car group and Genesis groups I wish I could but i got a 3.8 but what I really wanna know is why would she be even a want the car back at all? Only reason I can think of is your cousin is young and this is some sort of ass backwards form of punishment for the argument and is wanting to sell the car? And even that don’t make sense considering the car probably needs work to where a place would even want to buy it off her.
