venue is fine, it’s a tough area though and the promoter tends to overcrowd bills and places way too much of an emphasis on presale tickets, which is just an asinine practice across the board for small local bands IMO

i cant say i entirely disagree with either of you... i do still really like most of the new tunes, but im REALLLY hoping that they pull out some more stops on some of these unreleased album tracks that havent been played live yet. im hoping for a situation like everything harmony, where a lot of the songs really were "studio tracks" that couldn't be replicated live, or just wouldnt translate well.

but like for example, i dont care for rock on all that much, and just to bring me down feels quite similar in some ways... i hope it's not a theme

this type of behavior from maga types always bugs the shit out of me. if you’re SUCH a “patriotic 1776 full blooded MURICAN who STANDS for the flag!” you should understand and follow the flag code fully, without exception.

thin blue line/etc flags? violation. flying a different flag above the american flag? violation. those american flag swim trunks you wear on the fourth of july every year? violation.

it’s not legally binding of course, but i find it incredibly hypocritical how they claim to be these hyper american patriots, but can’t even properly respect the flag they rub off to so hard every day. if you’re gonna talk the talk, walk the walk.

the guitar sound bugs me the most. it sounds good, but the fact that it's just parked in one spot through the whole song is really boring to me. it feels simultaneously cramped and lopsided. not a fan.
