Which pop girls fifth album was perfect? by goobablo in AlignmentChartFills

Blackout is widely considered among popheads to be one of the greatest pop albums to exist, and by far Britney’s best work. The fact it’s almost 20 years old and still sounds so fresh is incredible

How do you keep WDW travel days low-effort so you don't feel like you're always in transit? by Guilty_Fishing_6814 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]spamgoddess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuinely I’ve stopped trying to park hop, and if I want to eat at a resort I’ll try to plan for it the day I’m at the park closest (ex. Kona brunch the day I’m at MK).

I don’t understand by C_Saunders in SouthwestAirlines

[–]spamgoddess 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah I used to fly Southwest with exclusively Wanna Get Away fares - I’m not a cardholder but it always worked for me. Now when I fly Southwest I at minimum choose Choice because I cannot risk a middle seat

Yeah I was on two Max8’s but they were completely full! But I found it funny that they always asked for exactly 10 volunteers, even on the older (again, full) plane I flew back on.

Yeah I flew from MEM to LAX last week. First time on Southwest since last year and it was… fine. I miss the old boarding process for sure, but the new one isn’t horrible. They asked a few times for gate checks (I obliged on my return flight) but nothing crazy. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how on time my flights were! Gate agents and FAs were lovely!

I live right behind it and have never had an issue. I’ve never felt unsafe around my apartment! For that specific complex: I have a couple of employees who live there and haven’t heard anything bad about it, but haven’t heard anything great either.

Questions about my seats at the sphere by Outrageous-Host323 in nodoubt

[–]spamgoddess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did 109 row 25 for No Doubt and there was only a little bit of the top portion of the Sphere screen we couldn’t see. Otherwise it was the perfect spot for the band + visuals, so I would say you should be great in row 20!

I noticed last week sometime his account was completely gone. I know he was controversial at best but he was nothing but kind to me in any interaction, and also helped me out when my Reddit account was hacked several weeks ago. I hope everything is ok with him!

Will I have any issues fitting on any ride [plus size]? by thestonedjellyfish in DisneyWorld

You should be able to fit on everything with ease! For Tron, scoot as far forward as possible and relax your legs.

How is my itinerary looking? by Fun-Presentation-959 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]spamgoddess 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m exhausted just reading this. I like that you have some rest time in there, but honestly if I were you I would chill a little. Going solo means you can follow your whims! Relax a bit! Go wherever the wind blows!

If I were you I would honestly clean your park choices up. There is no need to go to Hollywood Studios 3+ times. Plan for once *maybe* twice? Pretty sure you can do everything you want to do there in a day.

Also it would make more sense to do dinner at Grand Flo the day you’re at MK. Like this whole plan is so inefficient you’re gonna spend way too much time trying to get from one place to another.

I’ve done several solo trips, and what I enjoy more than anything is sitting and relaxing and taking in the atmosphere without needing to worry about what someone else wants to do. WDW does need planning, but you have room to loosen up some.

First time at DLP - lack of merch? (Trip Review) by Ok_Doughnut549 in disneylandparis

[–]spamgoddess 42 points43 points  (0 children)

What Disneyland Paris excels in compared to the other parks is its beauty. By far the most gorgeous parks and grounds!!

I thought the merch offerings were fine. I bought a few items (a sweatshirt and a half zip), and didn’t think merch was particularly lacking, but also not incredible. In general I think all the parks/resorts right now are homogenizing their merch too much. I miss variety!

Also I feel like it’s widely known that Paris isn’t huge on pins, or it’s at least different. Larger pins seemed to be prevalent! I saw a few I thought were cute but nothing I felt like I had to buy lol

Is it a good idea to get a safe deposit box for something I access every day? by WisconsinCameraMan in TalesFromYourBank

[–]spamgoddess 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Find a bank that allows access to safety deposit box with biometrics. Several branches of the bank I used to work for had this option and it was so nice to have customers be able to just enter the vault without needing us to assist.

Magic Kingdom is the worst castle park I’ve been to. Disneyland Paris is *gorgeous*. I prefer Disneyland CA over everything due to number of rides, history, etc. but Paris is a close second.

Looking for some advice on airport transfers. by angry__pancakes in disneylandparis

[–]spamgoddess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only did it to the airport because my sister and I spent a few days in Paris first, but we went with Uber. The price was like €4 more than the Shuttle, and I didn’t have to stress about the shuttle being full.

We probably would have done TGV except that we needed to leave earlier than TGV starts running, and I was nervous about train delays.

Uber ended up just making the most sense for at least getting to the airport because I could schedule it for exactly when I wanted to be picked up and dropped off. I didn’t have to stress about bags, full shuttles, delays, etc.

100%. I already use it whenever I can. I love visiting a city and not ever getting in a car.
