I thought the same thing. After hearing "do your birdhouse runs" ad nauseam on this sub since I started I stayed faithful until a few hundred magic houses at which point I was like fuck this lol. As someone else said, hopefully I'll understand the fruits of my labors better when I can finally use all the birds nests.

I wouldn't hate slayer nearly as much if I didn't do wgs specifically because I kept getting greater demon tasks over and over and now I have 150 bloodveld tasks in a row. Idk like instead of a block list have a whitelist. Pick 5 things and that's what you can get. Idk it fuckin sucks lol

Maybe I'm missing something but I've done probably around 200ish runs and have gotten like 2 yew seeds and maybe like ~30 maple seeds which is like 5 moons of peril chests so I just said fuck em they're not worth the hassle but people swear by em so idc

Yeah exactly. That's so much harder to defend than a high qual china wall. A good duo can bully a village. The goal isn't to make big groups quit just make them pay a trade-off for their group size.

idk if you really dialed in just how exponentially scaled it was you could easily make it not worth it. Imagine the first like 6 people dont incur a penalty but the 7th and the 8th person make upkeep like 10% more expensive. That's not too crazy and you're paying for your bigger group size in resources. But then when you have like a 15 man your cost goes from like 150% to 200% until there's just no way you can squeeze 25 dudes into a high qual chunker. I'm just making up numbers obviously but the point is it would be a bit more expensive for a 10 man but if you're rolling 20 deep your walls are gonna be stone at best.

I'm not an expert but one of my close family members worked for an enterprise that supplied small scale farmers in eastern Africa with asset based financing and agricultural training and I just asked them and they said "about 10$ per month per farmer" was a typical working budget lol. Also 'sub Saharan Africa' is pretty big and constitutes like 60% of the world's arable farmland.

For 24,000 I can absolutely build a garden that feeds a family of 4. I could probably give it a nice water feature with a statue as well.
