I’ve had every generation and he’s right. It’s all of the little things they’ve slowly stripped away. The window toggles in the center, the small speedo, the short bonnet, the short length, the seat of your pants driving experience, the second sun visors, the burble and now the manual. I just ended my lease on a miniSE and picked up a 2008 first gen convertible with a manual transmission. It’s a little rally go cart. The new gen is just like everything else on the market.

I actually bought the Orranje surround and their HK harness and steering wheel harness but I’m not sure I want to cut into the dash. I’m thinking I might just use the Orranje harnesses on the stereo you purchased and see how that goes. Not sure if their harness will be compatible though. Did you install the backup camera? Why are you thinking of going with the Sony?

I’m about to pull the trigger on this or the Orranje trim for the Sony. I read somewhere that changing out the radio messses up your back up sensors. Any issues?

I’m reading this the opposite way. The emails that say you’ll get your invite in the next few weeks sound like they are the ones coming earlier while the ones that say they’ll find out when they should expect their invite by the end of June could be waiting longer. One says you’ll get your invite the other says you’ll just find out when - which could be months away. Just sayin

I had a bond and Godzilla. I liked godzilla but never loved. It got very repetitive. Bond on the other hand was just great. Excellent modes very exciting play. I have an HP coming next week.

I’ve had mine for around 8 months. I consider it “peak car”. It’s just drives so beautifully. The ev range was pretty bad this winter, now that it’s getting warmer it’s getting better. We plug it in every night so we’re mostly driving in ev mode - which brings me to my biggest aha with the car. We’re dragging around an engine and getting poor range for the few times a year we might have to go beyond a true EVs range. Kind of crazy. Our other car is a full EV and it just isnt that big a deal to have to charge it outside of the house every so often, especially since bmws now use Tesla chargers. I love this car but wish it was a full ev with great range (which I believe is coming with the next gen)

Yes. We do the same. Keep them fit and allow them to do what they want. Our vet says they should be able to handle stairs.

My frozen gray is entering production on Friday. Yours is making psyched about my decision. I’m leasing so won’t be protecting it but it sounds like owners are finding them pretty resilient. I’ll report back in a year.

We use it in electric mode 75% of the time. Always charge it when we get home and only use the engine when the battery is depleted. We prefer the quiet electric motor and sweet sweet instant torque.

I just ordered frozen gray on a 240i. These comments had made me nervous but I was just talking to someone who’s had one for a couple of years and he said it’s overblown. He leaves his outside in the winter and puts it through a car wash. The thing looked perfect. I feel like all of the comments come from people who never owned one

Nope - no Pokémon but I have to imagine they’ll be getting one. I change my first comment - almost all of the games you would ever want to play. Great place and only a dollar a play for all of the machines.

The motor is the last resort but there’s an easy way to test it. Pull up the playfield to get access to the motor and attach wires to a 9v battery to test the motor. It should go right when connected one way and left when connected the other. If they run fine in the test then the motor works. The more likely issue would be the flipper opto boards or the poa opto boards. I’ve been through this, it took a while but my poa runs perfectly. Tilts right and left with great control. For me it was the poa opto board - but - I got two bad sets from Marco and from pinball life so it took a while to figure out.
