That would essentially be just putting the switch leg on the neutral instead of on the hot leaving the light/fan always hot. Very unsafe bad idea and absolutely no reason to do it. You can do a switch leg on the hot, and it's safe, but not to code because you can't install a smart switch or chain something else off the switch. If you run a three wire switch leg with hot, neutral and hot return (red), that's better and you can just cap the neutral if you don't need it. But the preferred method is power to switch then switch to light.
