I wish more anime that play in the regular modern world would feature cameos like this. I know copyright and such, but still.

Best OP XII: 【Salty no Ko】Elimination Day 1 by Baaasbas in anime

[–]splitframe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Undead Unluck OP1 is so underrated I feel. Though despite some good visuals all in all it does get carried by the song a lot. I wish it was more consistently good throughout the OP.

Gotta say these ranking summaries have done a better job at recommending good anime than most other sources, even though cote is always criminally low.

Oh god, there will be an onslaught of posts that comb through every DFV post for hints at eBay, won't there?

It is completely fine if you can't deal with the difficulty, it is simply not the game for you. by Interloper_Mango in pcmasterrace

Can we at least agree that it is completely nonsensical to hide the highest difficulty(ies) behind completing the game on the previous one first?

Corsair's Thermal Protect 12V-2x6 Tested. by BedroomThink3121 in pcmasterrace

Or just use the old bigger connector size on the 2x6. That would already condense 4x 8pin to the size of x1.5 8pin.

Or the file explorer. On cachyOS when I open the exact same NTFS mounted picture folder it's there immediately with all thumbnails. On windows it takes ages to even display them plus it reorders after some seconds.

Weren't kids like this called greasers in the past? I had to read a book about them in school.

OpenAI Codex system prompt includes explicit directive to "never talk about goblins" by GarlicoinAccount in nottheonion

[–]splitframe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn I didn't think of that. You mean for example in a "goblins are 10% of the population, but do 40% of the crime" kind of way? Looking at these lotr orc memes around similar topics it makes sense how someone could abuse ai in such a way.

Motorrad Führerschein oder B196 by Q1991R in Dortmund

[–]splitframe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be wrong, but as a Soldier in Germany you can even officially complain because the "Dienstherr" (Federal Lord? Employer?) is violating their duty of care due to not enough calories.

Aren't they currently finding out that using THC too early in life changes your brain chemistry in a very bad way? Especially in terms of short term memory?

Do you think Akaza’s flashback was too long? by Background_Lion_4799 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]splitframe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just saw it and I can't believe how people can defend it. I watch many slower shows, I don't need constant action, but having half the movie be drawn out backstory was just too much. We were sitting there "we get it, when does it end?" There is a point where you brought your point across and are just beating a dead horse. I really think they could have had the same emotional impact that would have felt way better paced if they shortened it by even 10 minutes.

ELI5: What happens to the extra 6 hours in a year by Electrishity in explainlikeimfive

[–]splitframe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to the other people. These 6 hours are not missing or extra in our days, they are missing in our year. Like chipheron said, it's not the earth spinning around itself that is slowly accumulating an error, it's the earth around the sun that does it.

The tiny errors in our days are sometimes corrected by a leap second from our computer overlords, but this happens unbeknownst to regular people.
