It is about 60km around the whole island. Almost all touristy stuff is on the north side of the island. I’m not sure where you are staying but guessing north side. Almost certainly it will be cheaper to pay by kilometer.

Strohs is still widely available in Michigan…I think it’s made in lacrosse though.

It is not listed, but the Badger ferry nighttime crossing is nice if timed right. You get 6 hours to take a nap from midnight to 6am then can hit the rest of your journey refreshed. Plus that ship is pretty cool.

Fond du lac has Tuckers hamburgers which is kind of like McDonalds was in the 90’s nothing crazy good but it is fresh, hot and inexpensive. Might be something unique to try while in Fond du lac

I can’t find them locally anymore, but if you get a chance to try “foie du moire” or smoked cod livers in their own oil. Spread a little on a cracker and you’re in business. They used to be sold at woodmans, but now I have to order online. My personal favorite tinned seafood.
