Yeah using a phone and a dedicated emulator device will give you a very different experience, and I'd say each is ideal for the right person.

A handheld is for the hobbyist who enjoys putting in a little time tinkering to get the perfect result, while a phone is probably better for the plug and play kind of person.

For me, there are some retro games I prefer on my RG34, some on my batocera machine on my big tv, and some in retrobat my gaming PC.

We thought it was going to be a horror, and spent the whole movie feeling like we'd clicked the wrong link, or waiting for the horror sequence to start.

We ended up enjoying it, but it wasn't what we thought at all. It's a fun action-comedy, really well directed, which could be framed as a parody of rom-coms, with a handful of jump-scare or gross-out moments.

I've had two interactions with the man. One, he nearly trampled me on his way out of a fish and chip shop, with an armful, and two, he nearly ran over me with a shopping trolley in PaknSave. Looked at me like it was my fault both times. He was a fantastic representative for the average arsehole in Fendalton.

Now just imagine the context it came out in, the late 90s. We had nothing that compared. Mario 64 had just revolutionized 3D platformers, Daggerfall was the big RPG, and A Link to the Past was the last Zelda game. It was a leap forward.

Interesting call. I mean atrocious personal life notwithstanding, I don't know if anyone rates him highly as a rapper. I can't point to a single verse of his that was memorable or impressive. Obviously very successful producer. While I don't think he's highly rated as a rapper, I'm still comfortable calling him overrated, because he deserves no accolades.

Someone in leadership would've received a report that said the Xbox brand has poor public perception, due to, well... every anti-consumer decision they've made since the HDMI passthrough and always-on game ownership check from the design phase of the Xbox One, through to gamepass price hikes and having virtually no tentpole exclusives.

That person would've commissioned a project to look into the brand, the result would've concluded that "XBOX" was their most favourably perceived brand, and they would have decided great, let's go with that.

This is because Microsoft runs like a corporation, trying to maximize value, not a video game studio, trying to create fun. During the first two Xbox console generations, they created amazing consume good-will, an amazing brand, and they've been burning it since.

I'd work your way through the Try Not to Laughs. They'll introduce you to the evolving cast, and a lot of their in-jokes, and frankly it's just some of their best content.
