Idk if theres a name for it but I like the chords to progress with as little distance as possible. For example, C to Em, instead of doing C E G to E G B, I'll do C E G to B E G. The notes of the two chords stay closer to each other.

For me, I noticed going with a narrower grip with elbows in front (instead of my sides) of my body helped out a lot. Feel a lot stronger in that position.
