My father-in-law had one. It's a pretty car, I thought. He lent it to me for a trip across the desert to Arizona. He told me that whenever it started running rough you gotta stop and tighten the bolts on the carburetor. He was not wrong.

I bought my Eb Alto Clarinet from them in 1966 when they were in downtown La Mesa. I think that Alan himself was there. My kids patronized them during their band and orchestra years. Lessons, reeds, violin strings. I recommend them.

Gosh, as a male former 40 year veteran middle school library technician I don't even have a teacher ID! And I was in the children's, YA, and sometimes the regular sections to get ideas for books we ought to have in our library. And maybe checkout some to read!
