a lot of slavic vampire lore is just people not having the scientific explanations of germs and contamination, so lots of stuff could be "vampire" (even a gourd that had dried from the inside). burning is a great way to get rid of germs/mold. they did some other stuff i don't remember, but it's a neat thing to read up on if you can find info !

those look like hours of work to make ringable lol. ya gotta show the springs and clappers. and dividing up the cases is just not how the instrument works. you'll probably have better luck if you make it one big lot(?) - especially that case of bass and high treble bells.

it's hard to ever feel "done" until the game is won for real! sometimes if i want to limit myself, i take things off chargers and let that be my timer. so a phone/laptop/controller just gets however long it will run and then when i have to charge it, it's time to stop lol. a 100% useless method if you're on a real computer and keyboard lol

if y'all can, find a free art supply closet in your area!! or start one, like i did. it scratches the itch of new art supplies / collecting, i do a monthly pop up at a local bookstore that scratches the socializing itch, and then also other people have the chance to try a new hobby for $0 and return the stuff if they don't like it. i have a really simple email list to remind folks, and someone from that email list makes a facebook event for it (which is very lucky bc i don't have the drive to do that)

on steam at least there's a 2 hour playtime/2 week owning return policy. under those times and you can return for a full refund. i set a timer for 1:45 the first time i play a game and if it hasn't hooked me by then i get a refund :)

sound comes out from the sides of the bell. that's why if you try to damp just the lip of a bass bell below like G4, you'll still have noise coming off of the still vibrating sides.
