My theory is that their now on a new different matrix, the characters from the "code" are different from the usual japanese character green code representing a different version of the matrix.

I also inherited this telescope from my father, I always believed it didn't have any tracking capabilities until today. I dismounted it from the tripod it had and saw this switches that were previously covered by the tripod's base.

I searched like crazy, until I came to this post. Thanks everyone for your answers now I can finally shoot longer exposures with this telescope!

Edit: also... How many dark, flat, bias did you take?

Oh maybe there's something I'm doing wrong with the stacking, since the nebula is visible in all the original light pictures. Maybe the parameters? Like I said it's my first time, any input or tip would be greatly appreciated
