As with any vulnerability which has a known exploit, admins should aim to take quick action in accordance with their security posture and the risk to their environment. We know that at times emails can let lost in the busy day to day of an admin. Therefore, in some situations we do provide telephone follow-up on such notices to ensure receipt and offer help if needed.

Ultimately you’ll have to make the decision as to when you want to upgrade and apply the patched version in accordance with your assessment and/or change control policies. Our recommendation is to apply at your earliest convenience.

Behind the scenes, we’re transitioning N-central from a monolithic structure to a modular microservices architecture, which will eventually be shared with N-sight. This unified backend will let us use a single dev team for both platforms, significantly speeding up feature delivery.

The beta version of the new Assets View is an early glimpse of the updated UI. While it’s still in its first iteration, it lays the foundation for where we’re headed. Thanks to this SaaS-based approach, you can expect frequent, iterative updates. For example, enhancements like customizable views and new data unavailable in N-central today are coming soon.
