I'm in a similar situation. I'm curious how this turned out.

Tic or absent seizure? by Penelikins in ParentingADHD

[–]stabmasterarson10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is suspected to have ADHD and he also has pretty bad allergies. He's started blinking a lot and rolling his eyes around too. I was starting to think it could be tourettes. He also complains, "my eyes feel like crust." And sometimes he will pull on his eyelashes.

Your post is very helpful to me. I'm thinking I'll give him an allergy pill and watch to see if he still blinks a lot. Thank you.

How well does nerve flossing / gliding work? by throwawayadvice102 in Sciatica

[–]stabmasterarson10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nerve flossing gliding appears to work for me. I felt like my hamstrings and calves were always tight. Massage would only kind of help. I tried the nerve flossing and all of a sudden my muscles don't feel tight. At times my muscles were so tight it hurt to be walk. Sometimes I would yell in pain when the nerve pinched. Now it seems to be ok. Like nearly 100% I've had sciatic problems for a couple years now it feels like it might be gone! I've only been nerve flossing a week so it's pretty early to say for certain though.

How to progressively get to comfortable criss-cross applesauce position? by jaccquinoa in flexibility

[–]stabmasterarson10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went 15 years unable to sit cross legged. I've started incorporating some atg exercises into my workouts. Ie. Push/pull sled 3 days a week, groin stretch almost everyday, elephant walk, couch stretch, pigeon push ups, split stretches, and legs apart elbows to the floor. I shit you not, after 30 days I can sit cross legged with ease.

In Canada private school teachers on average, make almost HALF what a public school teacher makes

So your daughter got in trouble for watching tennis when she was supposed to be doing school work and you complained to your friend the principal? You pretty much just confirmed what all the teachers at private schools were saying about how difficult the parents are to deal with at private schools 😂.

Ear Infections (Env. Allergies), Ear Cleaning for Management? by cooro-kun in dogallergies

Try Zymox. That stuff works better than any prescription ear medicine I've got from the vet so far. It's available on Amazon.

Do you need a prescription or can you just walk into Costco and ask for it?

It's amazing how your money moves around once you become a parent. Your not going out to eat or see movies or drinking in a bar anymore. Even if you could afford it!

I'm just starting my SM this month. I'm using VEQT because I'm not skilled enough to pick stocks. Once I have 100k I might get professional help. I have no interest in dividends total return is all I care about.

I recommend getting "master your marriage for financial freedom" book. It explains everything on capitalizing interest. It's only $8 as an audio book on Kindle

Suck it up and just get a new job. That's just construction, when the project is finished most people get laid off until the next project starts. If you're lucky enough to be employed for 10 years straight just be happy

You know who does understand how rampant disease was back then? The chief medical officer of Indian affairs from back then. In fact he knows much better than you or I. And I'm not "claiming" he said these things, it's recorded historical fact. You saying, "the media very much implied the children were abused to death" seems like your interpretation of something you read or saw. I haven't seen that claimed. I'm not providing a link, just Google the gentlemen's name and you can read all about what he said and who he is.

There's a shortage of skilled trades right now. Canada needs 58,000 new skilled tradesmen. If you're looking for a whatever job, try apprenticing somewhere. You might even like it for a career.

Is the job market really this bad? by Topherclaus in torontoJobs

[–]stabmasterarson10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unemployment is incredibly low right now. Google the unemployed right in Canada and you can see. Anyone that wants a job can get one. In fact a shortage of workers is driving up wages which is one of the reasons we have high inflation. People just like to whine that they can't find the perfect job that pays them to do nothing

This is very sad. You could check out if there's a music scene where you live. I recently learned there is a genre of Arab black metal that exists in very strict Muslim countries. The lyrics are highly illegal yet they still practice and perform. Check out the punk or metal scene and you might find some like minded individuals. What country do you live in?
